John Mayer Apparently Has Opinions About Fifth Harmony

John Mayer seemingly thinks Fifth Harmony was better as a five-some – and may be offering his services.

The 39-year-old musician was doing an Instagram Live video with fans while playing piano.

“So I like Fifth Harmony, but then Camila Cabello left the band and now it’s just this,” he said, playing what four notes sound like as opposed to five notes in a harmony.

“If you really wanted to add me, you’d get this,” he said to a sixth note. “And that’s one too many notes. Point being: Hi, Camila.”

Camila Cabello Opens Up About Her Journey From Cuba to America

Camila Cabello and Yara Shahidi are sharing their biggest life lessons in Glamour‘s Generations issue, on stands April 11th.

Here’s what the 20-year-old singer and 17-year-old actress, who posed with their families, had to share with the mag:

Camila on leaving Cuba for America at age six: “In Cuba there were days in class where we would just watch cartoons. We weren’t learning. But when I came to the U.S., it was like: homework. A lot of things were suddenly so different—being at a new school without my friends, I didn’t speak the language, and I missed my dad. I had a little Disney calendar I would mark with x’s until the day he was supposed to come. When he finally did, a year and a half later, I was so happy!”

Yara on her future: “Now that I’m getting ready to go to college, the questions are: What do you want to be? Who do you want to become? My parents taught me that it’s not a monolithic answer. You can be anything.”

Camila on learning from her mom, Sinuhe: “I think the most important thing I’ve learned from my mom has been: You’re human if you have fear, but you can’t ever let it determine how hard you go at a situation. If anything, it should make you go harder—go for it all the way.”

Yara on being an activist in the current political climate: “I feel both scared and empowered. So much of my work is as Yara, not as a character. If you’re attacking my work as a philanthropist or activist, you’re attacking Yara. But because of Black-ish and this national audience we have, I get to have a larger or louder voice. One thing I’ve tried to tell my peers is the amount of support that we do have. I feel the impact of my work and don’t feel as though I’m doing it for nothing. Black-ish has amplified the cause and the effect for me.”

Camila Cabello Hopes To Release Her Debut Solo Album In The Fall!

Camila Cabello keeps it edgy as she strikes a fierce pose on the cover of Fault magazine‘s latest issue.

Here’s what the 20-year-old “Bad Things” singer had to share with the mag:

On transitioning to a solo artist after leaving Fifth Harmony: “I think the scariest part about it is leaving a successful project to pursue a new dream with a new path full of questions of self-discovery that only you can answer. But even when I feel so grateful for the opportunity to be a part of my former group, expressing myself as an artist became a necessity.”

On finding the time to prepare for a solo career in between five years of non-stop work with Fifth Harmony: “I was always writing, not necessarily for myself, but just because I really wanted to be a songwriter. I think as I was writing I found my own voice as an artist and as a person, and I’m discovering more about it every day.”

On the pressures young female artists face to be forced to act a certain way: “I think it’s important to make your own decisions about what feels right to you and follow your inner voice. Never compromise if it doesn’t feel right.”

On when we can expect to hear new music: “I hope to release my first few songs before summer and then go from there and hopefully an album in the Fall.”

Camila Cabello Doesn't Like To Talk About Her Love Life

Camila Cabello looks stunning on the brand new March/April 2017 cover of Latina magazine.

Here’s what the 20-year-old “Bad Things” singer had to share with the mag:

On why she left Fifth Harmony: I started in the group when I was just 15. I needed to follow my heart and my artistic vision. I’m grateful for everything we had in Fifth Harmony and for [this new] opportunity. I am less focused on success and more on doing my best and pursuing my artistic vision to the fullest, wherever that takes me. Of course I also hope people will enjoy my music!

On her friendship with Taylor Swift: Our friendship has never been about career or anything professional. I tell her about boys and cry to her about boys. She’ll give me advice like, “No, do not text him back.” But I’m so excited for the day that I get to play her my music because she is seriously one of the reasons I started songwriting. I feel like we have something really cool where we can just be honest with each other, and we can just be girls, talking about stupid crushes. It’s the best.

On her love life: I get why people are interested in my love life, but I don’t want to give people that piece of me because it is the most important part. Here’s my dream life: I want to make songs and have incredible experiences with people. I don’t want to be locked up in a hotel room and just do press and red carpets. That’s not the kind of life I want to live. I want to make music, but I also want to go on road trips with friends. I want to go backpacking around Europe. I want to meet a Spanish boy in Spain and fall in love.
