The Battles have begun on The Voice season 22 and each coach will be joined by a celebrity guest advisor to assist their team!

Following the final blind audition of the season, which aired during the episode on Monday (October 10), the first battle was shown to end the evening.

Part two of the Battles airs on Monday (October 17)

The Battles will last until the end of October and the top 36 artists will advance to the knockouts. One celebrity guest will serve as an advisor for all teams during that round!

A contestant on The Voice had Camila Cabello calling out for mercy after they tried out with a song by her ex Shawn Mendes.

The celebrity couple announced their breakup in November of 2021. They were together for two years prior to going their separate ways.

She got a blast from the past when a potential contestant named Tanner Howe auditioned for the show singing Shawn‘s hit “Mercy.”

The Voice is returning to NBC tonight (September 19) after being off the air since December 2021 and there will be some new and returning faces on the panel!

Two coaches from season 21 will be returning for season 22, one from the past will be back, and one new coach is beginning a run on the show. Two judges from last season are not coming back.

NBC has also announced the celebrity advisors who will be assisting the coaches during the Battle Round.

Camila Cabello is opening up about having imposter syndrome ahead of her debut on The Voice as a coach.

The 25-year-old singer spoke to People about joining the show and revealed the pressures she faced.

“I do get a little bit of imposter syndrome sometimes. I do want to do right by the contestants and sometimes I’m like — there’s some people that are 40, they’ve been doing this for so long and I’m like, ‘I think you should do it like this,’” she says.

Camila continued, “But I’m like, you know what? No because I have been doing this for 10 years now and I had extreme situations where it hasn’t been a slow journey either. So I’ve had to gather a lot of knowledge in a short burst of time. I do have something to offer and I try to just be as helpful as possible.”

She also shared that previously serving as an advisor on the show helped her out, too.

“I don’t feel pressure anymore because I am absolutely killing it,” she boasts.

Fellow coach John Legend then jumped in, saying that Camila is “really good. Honestly, she took to it almost immediately and she’s been so good on the show. Very competitive and she’s going to be a tough one to beat.”

The party was held to celebrate the launch of Patrick‘s new Major Skin Creme Foundation and Finishing Powder Duo, which released the following day.
