Jason Aldean is a cool cowboy on the red carpet at the 2013 Academy of Country Music Awards held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena on Sunday (April 7) in Las Vegas, Nev.

The 36-year-old country star is up for the Entertainer of the Year award. Good luck, Jason!!!

“I quit thinking about awards shows, like, before I got there a long time ago,” Jason said about winning or losing. “Now, I just kind of show up with the mentality of ‘I’m gonna show up and whatever happens, happens, and I’m gonna have fun while I’m there.’”

Topping the nominations is Adam Levine in both music and television categories. Justin Bieber received five nominations in music categories. Channing Tatum, who received four noms, the most for any actor this year. Also receiving nominations were Jennifer Aniston, Mila Kunis, Reese Witherspoon, and more!

Kelly Clarkson hits the stage with Jason Aldean at the 2012 Grammy Awards held at Staples Center on Sunday (February 12) in Los Angeles.

The two belted out their hit song “Don’t You Wanna Stay,” which was up for Best Country Duo/Group Performance. The Grammy ended up going to The Civil Wars for “Barton Hollow.”

Last week, Kelly‘s song “Stronger,” the title track from her latest album, climbed to the top of Billboard‘s Hot 100 following her Super Bowl appearance where she sang the national anthem.

It marks her third number one single after 2002′s “A Moment Like This” and 2009′s “My Life Would Suck Without You”!

FYI: Kelly wore Pamella Roland’s black chiffon halter gown with crystal beaded wrapped waist. She accessorized with Diamond in the Rough jewelry and Dana Davis shoes.

Kelly Clarkson hits the stage with Jason Aldean during the CMA Music Festival on Thursday (June 9) at LP Field in Nashville, Tenn.

The 29-year-old American Idol champ and Jason, 34, rocked the house with their chart topping duet, “Don’t You Wanna Stay”.

Jason also closed out the big show and performed “Dirt Road Anthem,” the latest single off his album, with Ludacris!

“Got to sing with Jason Aldean tonight at the CMA music festival and also the Mav’s won ….great night!!” Kelly tweeted the following day.

“[I] had so much fun at the show! I love Ellen, she is one of a kind and just so down to earth and her staff is awesome as well!” Kelly wrote on her Facebook page.

The 28-year-old singer has also been busy working on her new album with producer Steve Jordan and also Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins!

The 28-year-old singer was at the top of Jason‘s list for potential collaborators, he revealed in the clip.

“The first notes out of her mouth were stupid good,” Jason said. “It was very obvious to me from the first minute she started singing that this was going to be a huge song.”
