John Mayer poses for a photo with some fellow volunteers while helping build homes for military veterans on Monday (April 29) in Shreveport, La.

The 35-year-old singer is a longtime supporter of military veterans and lent his support to the project, which was made possible by his friend, Pink Floyd founder Roger Waters, and the Bob Woodruff Foundation.

John is currently prepping for his upcoming tour to support his album Born & Raised after having to cancel his last tour due to his throat issues.

John Mayer is all smiles while performing during the 2013 New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Music Festival at Fair Grounds Race Course on Friday (April 26) in New Orleans, La.

“So Jazz Fest, I’m aware you might not know this song. I am exercising my instructions that I gave myself in the lyrics and I’m not worried about it. Let’s take a moment to not worry about a damn thing,” the 35-year-old singer shared about his song “Age of Worry” from recent album Born and Raised.

Before closing out the night, he added, “It’s going to be getting incredibly groovy and funky over the next couple of years.”

Jennifer Hudson, John Mayer, and Kelly Rowland attend the 2013 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony held at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live on Thursday (April 18) in Los Angeles.

The three entertainers were joined at the event by Usher, Oprah Winfrey, and Destiny’s Child member Michelle Williams to pay homage to the likes of Donna Summer, Quincy Jones, Randy Newman and Rush.

The induction ceremony will be broadcasted on Saturday (May 18) on HBO!

The 35-year-old musician chatted with Ellen DeGeneres about his dating life and how he is improving his health.

“It was a very private relationship going in. It was a private relationship during and it’s a private relationship, still. I can understand asking the question based on some previous answers I have given but I have finally learned how to put the wall between one thing and the other,” John shared about his recent relationship with Katy Perry.

John added, “I’ve been much happier since then. I’m on the same journey as everyone else. Coupling is a tricky thing,”

John Mayer wears his signature cowboy hat as he leaves Craig’s restaurant on Thursday (March 28) in West Hollywood, Calif.

The 35-year-old singer recently opened up to Billboard about how Botox injections saved his singing voice.

“I probably had contiguously three, maybe four months of not saying a word,” John said. “The endurance was tough for me, but I started a new life. It’s hard to believe that I’m healed, but just to make sure, I keep going back every two weeks for a look, and it’s the same-if not better.”

“I’m never a quitter,” he added. “That’s how my mind works. Everything I stand for is about fighting through and never backing down.”
