Rapper Nelly strolls into the Ritz Carlton while taking a break from his current tour in the midwest earlier this week.

The 33-year-old Grammy recently made an appearance on the hit CBS drama CSI: NY. Watch one scene from his multi-episode arc here. He plays a club owner who serves as a confidential informant to Detective Mac Taylor (Gary Sinise) and his team.

“He’s a great actor,” executive producer Pam Veasey has said of Nelly. “He really stepped up.”
