Nick Robinson Had 'Mild' Coronavirus Symptoms In March

Nick Robinson just revealed that he had coronavirus back in March of 2020.

During an interview with Variety, the 25-year-old actor was promoting his new FX series, A Teacher, when he opened up about his diagnosis.

“My girlfriend and I both actually caught COVID in New York in March,” Nick shared. “We both got sick. Luckily it was very mild. We had some fevers and we lost our senses of taste and smell.”

He said that they both had “tested positive for antibodies” afterwards.

Nick added that having COVID made him a little nervous to start filming Maid with Margaret Qualley in Vancouver.

However, they’re “being extra safe. Everyone on set is tested regularly. Everyone’s wearing a mask. Everyone is in PPE and socially distancing on set. Everyone’s taking it really seriously.”

Nick says “even though the case count is really low, we are in the midst of a global pandemic and everyone hasn’t lost sight of that fact. I think everyone’s also really happy to be back to work so we’re happy to make some sacrifices.”

Kate Mara & Nick Robinson Get Involved in a Passionate Affair in FX's 'A Teacher'

Kate Mara and Nick Robinson start up a heated, illegal affair in the first trailer for FX’s A Teacher.

The two star as the teacher and student who enter into a forbidden relationship.

Here’s the series’ synopsis reads: Beautiful and quietly enigmatic, Claire (Mara) is the newest teacher at Westerbrook High School. Dissatisfied in her marriage to her college sweetheart Matt Mitchell (Ashley Zukerman), distant from her brother Nate Wilson (Adam David Thompson) and desperate for connection, she quickly befriends fellow teacher, Kathryn Sanders (Marielle Scott).

Claire’s life changes when Eric (Robinson), a charming all-American senior in her English class, takes an unexpected interest in her. Popular and outgoing, Eric is the captain of the soccer team and nearly inseparable from his best friends, Logan Davis (Shane Harper) and Josh Smith (Dylan Schmid).

Everything seems perfect on the surface, but Eric is forced to juggle the pressures of school, applying for college and a part-time job, all while helping take care of his two younger brothers so his mother Sandy (Rya Ingrid Kihlstedt) can support the family. Claire and Eric discover an undeniable connection that allows them to escape their individual realities, but their relationship accelerates faster than either could anticipate.

The permanent damage left in the wake of Claire and Eric’s illicit affair becomes impossible for them, and their friends and family, to ignore.
