Rihanna Responds to Rumors She's In 'The Batman' with Robert Pattinson

Rihanna sparked rumors that she may be starring in The Batman alongside Robert Pattinson after posting an Instagram referencing the masked Gotham hero.

“Bat-mobile , but make it fashion!,” Ri captioned a video of her black leather boots.

Fans quickly began theorizing what roles she could play and theories began spreading linking her to Catwoman and Poison Ivy.

“Wait, did I hint anything? Oh that? Are you serious? No, that has nothing to do with Poison Ivy,” Rihanna told ET. “That [post] has to do a lot with Batman [because] I have separate obsessions. I have bigger obsession with Poison Ivy, I’m just being honest. And yeah, I dyed my hair red because of Uma Thurman in the original.”

Rihanna was recently involved in a bit of a scandal for texting during a Broadway play.

Robert Pattinson Speaks About the Public's Reaction to His Casting as Batman

Robert Pattinson gets his close up on the cover of Variety‘s new issue.

Here’s what the 33-year-old The Batman star had to share with the mag…

On public reaction to news of his casting as Batman, which included a Change.org petition to have him recast: “To be honest, it was less vitriolic than I was expecting. It’s much more fun when you’re an underdog. There’s no expectation of you.”

On putting on the Batsuit for the first time in his final audition: “It’s maybe the craziest thing I’ve ever done in terms of movie stuff. I put it on. I remember saying to Matt [Reeves, the screenwriter], ‘It does feel quite transformative!’ He was like, ‘I would hope it does! You’re literally in the Batsuit.’”

On his casting leaking to the public before it was official: “When that thing leaked, I was f*cking furious. Everyone was so upset. Everyone was panicking from my team. I sort of thought that had blown up the whole thing.”

On why he prefers to work constantly rather than just have fun: “I’m constantly living in terror. If you experience a loss of momentum, you don’t want that to happen again. And I really enjoy working. There’s no part of me that can go off and disappear.”
