The Bitter Pill also stars Channing Tatum as Rooney‘s ex-con hubby, Jude Law as her shrink, and Catherine Zeta-Jones as a doctor.

The flick hits theaters early next year.

David Lowery wrote the script and will direct the film, which was part of 2011 Sundance Film Festival‘s Creative Producing Labs and Creative Producing Summit.
