This year’s Costume Institute Gala Benefit – celebrating the opening of the Schiaparelli and Prada: Impossible Conversations exhibition – is co-chaired by Carey Mulligan, Vogue editor Anna Wintour, and designer Miuccia Prada.

Lily Aldridge shows off her growing baby bump at the launch of “American Beauty” on Thursday (March 29) in New York City.

The 26-year-old model, who’s expecting her first child with hubby Caleb Followill, came out to support Claiborne Swanson Frank‘s new photography book.

Fellow model Jessica Stam and Gossip Girl‘s Kelly Rutherford also came out for the bash, hosted by Tod’s and Vogue, while Solange Knowles served as the night’s DJ.

FYI: Lily is wearing a Proenza Schouler dress with Alaia heels and a Manon bracelet. Jessica paired her Chloe dress with Tod’s wedges and an Edie Parker clutch.

On Beyonce as a sister: “She was and is such a role model, but I think more so it was an insane learning process for me to have a big sister like that – to be able to see the good, the bad and everything in between that comes with fame and success, and to know what I was getting myself into. But I really enjoy my privacy and being able to walk my son to school every morning and pick him up every afternoon. I know that I couldn’t do that if I was at the next level – privacy, as you know, it just doesn’t belong to you anymore. I definitely made a conscious effort to stay as low key as I can and still do what I want to do.”

On becoming an aunt to baby Blue Ivy: “It’s very different to being a mother, but there’s still that sort of magnetic bond and love that you can’t even put words on to describe. I think babies in general are so lovable – and my sister’s baby, Blue, is so beautiful. She is really a beautiful little baby. It’s really special to have a niece because I have a son, so I get to have a little girl too.”

The 30-year-old entertainer was joined by her younger sister Solange and her hubby Daniel Smith, who all made separate exits out of the popular New York eatery.

First Lady Michelle Obama recently answered a Twitter question in which she talked about listening to music while exercising for the Let’s Move campaign.

“I always love Beyonce, so anything that’s fast-paced that she’s doing is a good one for me,” Michelle said in regards to what is on her iPod.

“I have very eclectic taste, so my playlist on my iPod runs from fast-paced to a little more mellow,” she continued.
