“As a result of Wal-Mart’s gross, reckless, willful, wanton, and intentional conduct, it should be appropriately punished with the imposition of punitive damages,” the complaint stated. “Walmart was careless and negligent in the ownership and operation of its motor vehicle, which caused Mr. Morgan to suffer severe personal injuries.”

Wal-Mart responded by saying, “This has been a terrible tragedy. We wish Mr. Morgan, Mr. Fuqua Jr., and Mr. Millea full recoveries. Our thoughts continue to go out to them, their families and friends, as well as to the families and friends of everyone involved, including Mr. McNair, who lost his life. We are deeply sorry that one of our trucks was involved. As we’ve said, we’re cooperating fully in the ongoing investigation. We know it will take some time to resolve all of the remaining issues as a result of the accident, but we’re committed to doing the right thing for all involved.”

Tracy Morgan's Upcoming FX Show 'Will Be Waiting For Him' When He Recovers From Car Accident

Tracy Morgan‘s horrible car crash this past weekend left many with questions about the future of his FXX show.

The 45-year-old comedian’s ten episode series was slated to begin production in August for a January release. The network just released a statement about the future of the show.

“The only thing we are concerned with is the health and recovery of Tracy Morgan and the victims of this tragic accident. We will support Tracy and his family in every way possible throughout his recovery. At the point when Tracy has recovered and decides that he is ready to go back to work, his show will be waiting for him. Right now our thoughts and prayers remain with Tracy, the other victims of the accident, and their families,” the statement read, via Deadline.

Despite reports, Tracy‘s leg was not amputated as a result of the accident, and his recovery will be “arduous.”

Tracy Morgan's Leg Will Not Be Amputated Despite Reports

Tracy Morgan will not be having his leg amputated despite reports that said he would be.

“Rumors about amputating his leg are completely fabricated,” the 45-year-old actor’s rep told JustJared.com.

“Tracy remains in critical but stable condition. His fiancée Megan is by his side,” the rep added. “The concern for his well-being has been overwhelming, but Megan is respectfully asking that the media await official word through these channels before speculating (mostly inaccurately) on his condition. As we shared yesterday, Tracy had surgery on his broken leg. We are working closely with the incredible staff at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital to share information when it is available. This recovery will be arduous and we hope that you can be patient during this difficult time.”

Tracy‘s leg was horribly broken during the car crash over the weekend that took the life of fellow comedian James McNair. He is currently in critical condition in the hospital, where he will likely remain for weeks while recovering.
