Charles Melton was so shocked by his win at the 2023 Gotham Awards that he was practically speechless while accepting the award!
The 32-year-old actor picked up the Outstanding Supporting Performance award for his work in the movie May December during the awards show on Monday (November 27) at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City.
Charles beat out nine other actors, including Oscar winners like Penelope Cruz and Jamie Foxx, to win the award.

Robert De Niro‘s speech at the 2023 Gotham Awards did not go as planned.
The 80-year-old actor was present at the event on Monday (November 27) in New York City to present the Historical Icon and Creator Tribute award for Martin Scorsese‘s Killers of the Flower Moon, which Robert starred in alongside Leonardo DiCaprio and Lily Gladstone.

The longtime couple posed for some gorgeous couple photos while attending the 2023 Gotham Awards on Monday night (November 27) at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City.
Margot and Tom are producing partners in addition to being romantic partners, so many of their red carpet appearances have been alongside their other collaborators. They rarely pose together with no one else present!
The couple was at the show to celebrate Barbie‘s nomination for Outstanding Supporting Performance for Ryan Gosling‘s work in the film. He was unable to attend. Director Greta Gerwig was also presented with a Creator Tribute at the event!

The 2023 Gotham Awards nominations are here!
The nominees for the awards, presented annually to the makers of independent films at a ceremony in New York City, were revealed on Tuesday (October 24).
All Of Us Strangers by Andrew Haigh leads the nominees, as well as Celine Song’s Past Lives and Jonathan Glazer’s The Zone of Interest.
The ceremony removed a longstanding budget cap on eligibility, allowing big-budget studio and streamers to submit for consideration.
The 33rd annual event is set for November 27 at Cipriani New York, and will be honoring Maestro by Bradley Cooper, Air by Ben Affleck and Rustin, the upcoming film by George C. Wolfe, produced by President Barack Obama and Michelle Obama’s Higher Ground with tributes for the films and the individuals they portray.

Stars like Jennifer Lawrence, Joe Alwyn, and Black Panther actors Danai Gurira and Lupita Nyong’o stepped out for the annual event on Monday night (November 28) at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City.
Everything Everywhere All at Once was the big winner of the night, taking home the award for Best Feature and Outstanding Supporting Performance for Ke Huy Quan.
Television was also honored at the ceremony with new shows like Pachinko and Mo both awarded during the ceremony.

Michelle Williams has her best friend Busy Philipps by her side!
The acclaimed actress received a Performer Tribute honor during the 2022 Gotham Awards on Monday night (November 28) at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City.
The award was presented to Michelle by her The Fabelmans co-star Paul Dano and Busy was there to show her support.
It’s going to be a busy awards season for Michelle. The Fabelmans is currently ranked number one on GoldDerby‘s predictions for a Best Picture nomination. She is also ranked number three under the Best Actress predictions. If she is nominated, this will mark Michelle’s fifth acting nomination following 2006′s Brokeback Mountain, 2011′s Blue Valentine, 2012′s My Week with Marilyn, and 2017′s Manchester by the Sea.

The 2022 Gotham Award nominations have just been released and we have our first taste of awards season now that this list is out!
The Gotham Awards is the first major awards ceremony of the fall season . Last year, the show introduced gender-neutral categories and are continuing that trend this year.
Nominees are selected by committees of film and television critics, journalists, festival programmers, and film curators. Separate juries of writers, directors, actors, producers, editors, and others directly involved in making films will determine the final Gotham Award recipients.
The awards celebrate the best in independent film and are handed out by the Gotham Film and Media Institute.
The awards will take place on Monday (November 28).
