Aaron Rodgers Drank Tequila the Night He Realized the Green Bay Packers Could Be Replacing Him as Quarterback

NFL star quarterback Aaron Rodgers revealed a time in the past few months that caused him to pour himself some tequila.

The moment happened during the 2020 NFL draft, where Aaron‘s team, the Green Bay Packers, decided to choose another quarterback with their first selection. That quarterback, Jordan Love, seems to be in line to replace Aaron at some point in the near future.

“I was like, ‘Oh, wow, OK,’” Aaron said. “I love scotch, but I’ve been drinking some sipping tequila lately as well. And once I got that text [that Love was the pick], I went to the pantry, I poured myself about four fingers [of tequila] and I knew it was going to be one of those nights where people start calling,” Aaron said of the controversial decision the Packers made.

Aaron also admitted he wasn’t “elated” that the Packers are basically deciding to move on from having him be their starting quarterback at some point soon.

Fans realized Aaron just went through a big change in his personal life as well when he noticed who stopped following him on the social media platform.
