Angelina Jolie listens intently and records the stories of refugees who had just escaped the war in Syria by crossing the Jaber border on Tuesday (June 18) in Jordan.

The 38-year-old actress, who is a UNHCR Special Envoy, said that the purpose of her visit is “to show support for Syria’s refugees, to call on the world to address their plight, and to better understand needs in Jordan and other countries in the region most directly affected by this devastating conflict.”

Angie is in Jordan to mark World Refugee Day, which is commemorated each year on June 20.

“The worst humanitarian crisis of the 21st century is unfolding in the Middle East today,” Angelina added. “By the end of this year half of Syria’s population – ten million people – are expected to be displaced and in desperate need.”

James Haven and his girlfriend Ashley Reign hit the red carpet at the premiere of his sister Angelina Jolie‘s fiance Brad Pitt‘s new movie World War Z on Monday (June 17) in New York City’s Times Square.

The 40-year-old actor was also joined at the event by his father Jon Voight, whose new Showtime series Ray Donovan premieres later this month.

Brad walked the red carpet at the event that evening, but the rest of his family was noticeably absent.

Brad Pitt waves to his fans while making his way into the Good Morning America studios on Monday morning (June 17) in New York City’s Times Square.

The 49-year-old actor chatted with host George Stephanopoulos on the outdoor plaza that morning about his new film World War Z, which hits theaters on June 21. Watch a new extended clip below!

Brad also discussed his fiancee Angelina Jolie‘s double mastectomy earlier this year.

“Business as usual. She’s doing great. When she wrote her piece, we had already come out the other end and we’re feeling really good about it. We’re really surprised and moved by how many people are dealing with the same issue, or wondering about the same issue,” Brad said. “Her idea was that if someone could learn from her story, then she would love to share that. But it’s just been a beautiful thing to watch and her focus now is that all people have access to the testing and know what they can do about it. And she has certainly shown if you do your research and make your decision, what’s best for you, it doesn’t have to be a scary thing.”

Brad Pitt is all smiles while arriving at Gimpo International Airport for a departing flight on Tuesday (June 11) in Seoul, South Korea.

The 49-year-old actor was joined by nine-year-old son Pax, who was spotted holding his purple bear again.

Earlier in the day, Brad rocked a pony-tail while arriving at the same airport with Pax.

It was recently announced that Brad‘s new film World War Z will screen in IMAX theaters in Australia and Hong Kong, starting on June 20!

“We’re thrilled that World War Z is [Brad Pitt's] first Imax release and look forward to his fans having the opportunity to experience it in the world’s most immersive format,” IMAX President Greg Foster said in a statement.
