The day before, the 31-year-old entertainer was spotted carrying her pet pooch while shopping at Sports Authority with her boyfriend David Lucado in Thousand Oaks.

Earlier in the week, Britney was seen heading to a rehearsals studio.

“I had moments where I was so comfortable with her because she is so down to earth,” Demi Lovato recently shared. “I had moments where I’m like, ‘That’s my girl,’ and I’m like, ‘Oh shoot, that’s Britney Spears!’”

“What I learned from Britney is that you don’t have to change. Her family, we laughed several times, ’cause our families are so similar. Our moms are super close now,” X Factor judge Demi Lovato recently shared.

Demi added, “And our dads are really similar. She has this southern down-to-earth family. And she’s still a southern down-to-earth girl. I already knew that you don’t have to change in the industry, but even at her level of success being the icon that she is, it was really refreshing.”

The 31-year-old singer and her boys – Jayden James, 6, and Sean Preston, 7, – are spending Mother’s Day together!

“I’ve got the two cutest boys in the world!” the singer captioned the photo in her blog post. “Hope y’all are having as nice of a mothers day as I am!”

The night before, Britney co-hosted 102.7 KIIS FM’s Wango Tango held at The Home Depot Center.

Britney Spears shows off her rockin’ bikini body on the cover of Shape magazine’s June 2013 issue, on newsstands May 20.

Here’s what the 31-year-old entertainer had to share with the mag:

On her upcoming shows in Las Vegas: “The [Vegas] performances won’t be simple—they’ll be a massive party from start to finish. And to pull this off, I have to be in top condition and running at full speed.”

On staying in shape: “I’m doing 90 minutes of yoga twice a week in addition to a lot of cardio—hour-long sessions three times a week with my trainer, Tony Martinez.”

On keeping up with her diet: “Dieting is tough… because my specialties are spaghetti, brownies, and chocolate chip cookies. I try not to make those too often or I’ll eat the whole bowl of dough.”
