Joaquin Phoenix & Rooney Mara Couple Up at 'Mary Magdalene' Special UK Screening!

Rooney Mara keeps it chic and sophisticated while posing for photographs at the special screening of her latest film Mary Magdalene held at The National Gallery on Monday (February 26) in London, England.

The 32-year-old actress was joined at the event by her boyfriend and co-star Joaquin Phoenix, as well as their other cast mates Charles Babalola, Tahar Rahim and Chiwetel Ejiofor.

Rooney and Joaquin were also joined by the film’s producers Liz Watts and Iain Canning, writer Philippa Goslett, composer Hildur Guonadittir, and director Garth Davis.

In Mary Magdalene, Rooney plays the title character and Joaquin is playing Jesus. The film is set to hit theaters on March 30 – Watch the trailer here!

Bryan Cranston, Chiwetel Ejiofor & Dennis Quaid Arrive at BAFTAs 2018

Bryan Cranston, Chiwetel Ejiofor and Dennis Quaid all look handsome on the red carpet at the 2018 EE British Academy Film Awards held at Royal Albert Hall on Sunday (February 18) in London, England.

Bryan and Chiwetel also presented during the evening’s ceremony.

Al Gore also walked the red carpet at the ceremony.

Celebs Are Wearing Black at BAFTAs 2018 for Time's Up Movement

You may have noticed that most of the attendees at the 2018 BAFTAs are wearing black.

The fashion choice is a sign of solidarity with the Time’s Up movement, which was created to raise awareness about gender inequality, abuse of power and harassment.

Stars including Angelina Jolie, Jennifer Lawrence, Margot Robbie, Saoirse Ronan, Greta Gerwig, Salma Hayek, Andrea Riseborough, Natalie Dormer, Anya Taylor-Joy, Emma Roberts, Ruth Wilson, Helena Bonham Carter, Lily James, Karen Gillan, Lupita Nyong’o, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Gary Oldman, Toby Jones, Octavia Spencer, Gemma Arterton, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Haley Bennett, Sam Rockwell, Leslie Bibb, Hugh Grant, Rebecca Ferguson, and more wore black on the red carpet this evening.

Celebrities also wore black on the red carpet at the Golden Globes in a show of solidarity for the movement.

'Sherlock Gnomes' Releases Trailer & Character Posters - Watch Now!

Sherlock Gnomes is on the case!

The animated sequel to 2011′s Gnomeo & Juliet, which co-stars James McAvoy, Emily Blunt, Mary J. Blige and Johnny Depp just released a trailer on Tuesday (November 7), which you can watch now.

Here’s a plot summary: When Gnomeo (McAvoy) and Juliet (Blunt) first arrive in the city with their friends and family, their biggest concern is getting their new garden ready for spring. However, they soon discover that someone is kidnapping garden gnomes all over London. When Gnomeo and Juliet return home to find that everyone in their garden is missing – there’s only one gnome to call…Sherlock Gnomes (Depp).

Beyonce Knowles Will Play Nala in 'The Lion King' 2019 Remake!

Following casting rumors that swirled earlier this year, it’s now official: Beyonce Knowles is playing Nala in Disney’s upcoming 2019 remake of The Lion King!

The full all-star lineup for the Jon Favreau-directed new take on 1994 classic The Lion King was announced on Wednesday evening (November 1), including Donald Glover as Simba, James Earl Jones as Mufasa (reprising his iconic original role), Chiwetel Ejiofor as Scar and Alfre Woodard as Sarabi.

John Oliver will play Zazu, while Seth Rogen will play Pumbaa. Billy Eichner will play Timon.

The upcoming film will utilize “pioneering filmmaking techniques to bring treasured characters to life in a whole new way.”

Beyonce also shared the news on her Facebook.
