Chris Stapleton is making his third Saturday Night Live musical guest appearance!
The 45-year-old country singer-songwriter performed two tracks from his fifth studio album Higher, which came out in November, on Saturday’s episode (April 13).
The performance follows his last two performances in 2018 alongside Sturgill Simpson and in 2016.

Chris Stapleton has his wife Morgane by his side at the 2023 CMA Awards!
The longtime couple walked the red carpet together at the annual awards show on Wednesday night (November 8) at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tenn.
Chris is scheduled to perform twice during the show tonight and he’s also nominated for three awards – Entertainer of the Year, Male Vocalist of the Year, and Musical Event of the Year for “We Don’t Fight Anymore” with Carly Pearce.
For those who don’t know, Chris is one of the most decorated singers in country music with 14 previous wins form the Country Music Association Awards off of 21 nominations.

Tonight is the night for the 2023 Academy of Country Music Honors special and we have all the details about what you can expect.
The event was taped on August 24 at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville and will be airing on FOX on Monday night (September 18) at 8pm ET/PT.
Country singer Carly Pearce is returning to host the ceremony for the second year in a row and she’s also performing during the event.
“Country music royalty reigns on FOX this fall, starting with the debut of Monarch, the network’s new drama about the first family of country music, followed by one of country’s most special nights, ACM Honors,” said FOX exec Rob Wade. “This partnership with the Academy of Country Music marks the return to television for this beloved, star-studded event, giving country fans everywhere all the more reason to call FOX home.”

George Strait was forced to wrap up his show earlier than intended over the weekend.
The 71-year-old country music legend was performing at Nissan Stadium with Chris Stapleton and Little Big Town on Saturday night (July 29) on Nashville, Tenn., when a second shelter-in-place order at the stadium due to bad weather caused the headlining performance to end early.
About an hour before the concert, Nissan Stadium issued a shelter-in-place warning for those already inside the stadium. The delay lasted nearly an hour but was called off shortly before 5:45 p.m., via WKRN.
