The 12-year-old actress was joined during the discussion by her co-star David Harbour and TV critic Matt Zoller Seitz.
David opened up about what fans can expect during season two of the hit Netlix series, set for a 2017 release date.
“We did get the first couple scripts, and it’s insane,” he told the crowd, going on to describe “one of the great love triangles of the series” – referring to Jonathan (Charlie Heaton), Nancy (Natalia Dyer), and Steve (Joe Keery). “Even when I was watching I felt torn. They both were so three dimensional… There will be more of that for seasons to come.”
“Anything can happen,” Millie added. “But I’m okay with [Steve and Nancy]. I just think Jonathan… Imagine if Barb came back and Jonathan and Barb were dating. That would be incredible.”
Millie also shared some of her feelings about Eggo waffles! “I like them. I do,” she said. “I do not like how many I eat. The amount I eat is actually really hard to digest.”
