Douglas Booth and Ed Westwick suit up for a presentation of their film Romeo & Juliet at the Majestic Terrasse during the 2012 Cannes Film Festival on Saturday (May 19) in Cannes, France.

Earlier in the day, Ed, 24, arrived at the airport in Nice to get ready for the festival.

“When I saw Douglas Booth in his costume and Hailee Steinfeld, it was clear that we had found a way to retell this most classic of all love stories, with a pair of lovers who really are as young, as pure, and as handsome as I had always wanted them to be,” screenwriter Julian Fellowes writes in the latest issue of Entertainment Weekly, on newsstands Friday (May 11).

Also pictured inside: Ed Westwick as Tybalt, Christian Cooke as Mercutio, Paul Giamatti as Friar Laurence, Kodi Smit-McPhee as Benvollo, and Stellan Skarsgard as the Prince of Verona.

James McAvoy and his wife, Anne-Marie Duff, hit the red carpet at the 2012 Olivier Awards on Sunday (April 15) at The Royal Opera House in London, England.

The 33-year-old actor was one of the presenters at the show, where Matilda the Musical was the night’s big winner, picking up Best New Musical and six other awards.

Douglas Booth and his Romeo and Juliet co-star, Natascha McElhone, also hit the stage and posed together in the press room.

LOL will hit theaters in a limited release on May 4!

Eddie Redmayne hits the red carpet at the 2012 BAFTAs, aka Orange British Academy Film Awards, held at the Royal Opera House on Sunday (February 12) in London, England.

Fellow British actors Douglas Booth (in Hackett), Jeremy Irvine, and Luke Treadaway were also spotted at the swank event.

Eddie and Michelle Williams‘ latest movie My Week With Marilyn was unfortunately shut out at the ceremony after being nominated six times, including Outstanding British Film. The flick hits Blu-ray and DVD March 13!

Douglas Booth participates in a panel for PBS Masterpiece’s Great Expectations during the Winter TCA Tour earlier this month in Pasadena, Calif.

The 19-year-old British actor was joined on stage at The Langham Huntington by co-star Gillian Anderson to chat about their PBS series.

Douglas will next be starring in Life At These Speeds opposite Billy Crudup.

Variety‘s Showblitz reports Douglas will play a rural teenager “who loses his best friends in a tragic accident and channels his survivor’s guilt into an addiction to running, becoming a wolrd-class distance runner in the process.

Billy will take on the role of Douglas‘ coach and confidante.
