Charlize Theron Says Megyn Kelly Is 'Fully Aware' of 'Bombshell' Movie - Watch New Trailer!

Nicole Kidman, Charlize Theron and Margot Robbie make an appearance together on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, airing on Tuesday (October 15), and debut a brand new trailer for their upcoming film, Bombshell!

“This was literally a dream come true for me right here. The whole cast,” Charlize says. “It’s an amazing group of people. We’ve had this conversation quite a bit – how rare it is where you get to work with so many women.”

Charlize also confirms whether Megyn Kelly has reached out after the Oscar winner portrayed her in the film, and the three explained the research and transformation it took to play news anchors.

“We used a lot of source material in finding the story and also spoke to a lot of women who were a part of the story. Some of them were still working at Fox, some of them didn’t really want their names out there,” Charlize says. “As a team we’ve just decided to really kind of protect our sources. Megyn is fully aware of the film and we’re really hoping she will see it. We want everybody to see it who was involved in the story.”

“I admire Ellen for standing up and saying what she said. George Bush has made a lot of mistakes. I made a lot of mistakes. Ellen DeGeneres has made a lot of mistakes. People need to come together…they need to respect people’s view on life. Except when it’s heresy, and I don’t think George Bush is that kind of guy,” he said.

Ellen has faced mixed reaction after making a lengthy statement about her friendship with the former politician, saying, “I’m friends with a lot of people who don’t share the same beliefs that I have. We’re all different and I think we’ve forgotten that that’s okay that we’re all different…just because I don’t agree with someone on everything doesn’t mean I’m not going to be friends with them.”

Mark Ruffalo Criticizes Ellen DeGeneres' Defense of Her Friendship With George W. Bush

Mark Ruffalo does not agree with Ellen DeGeneres‘ defense of her friendship with former United States President George W. Bush.

After the daytime TV host called for kindness towards everybody and defended their friendship despite political differences, the 51-year-old actor spoke out on Twitter on Wednesday (October 9).

“Sorry, until George W. Bush is brought to justice for the crimes of the Iraq War, (including American-lead torture, Iraqi deaths & displacement, and the deep scars—emotional & otherwise—inflicted on our military that served his folly), we can’t even begin to talk about kindness,” Mark wrote in response to a headline about Ellen‘s call for kindness.
