McCoy later addressed her comments and said, “I remember when Monster’s Ball… [it] was her love scene and they was trying to say that that’s how she is in bed… And it was like, no, it was a movie guys, what are you talking about?”

Halle won her Oscar for her role in that 2001 movie.

“This is Halle Berry. She will not tolerate any @halleberry as Catwoman slander. Meet Halle (the cat) at our adoption center in Howell. No appointment is necessary but please wear a mask,” the Michigan Humane Society wrote in a tweet.

Soon thereafter, Halle shared the message on her own Twitter account with a string of exclamation marks.

Halle Berry is a sweet quiet girl looking for a calm home,” the Humane Society also wrote of the 8-year-old domestic shorthair mix, who weighs 12 lbs.

“We don’t know if she has a history with children or dogs, so a slow introduction would be best. She has lived with cats in the past, and has gotten along with other cats here at the shelter as well. New situations can be scary for her, but once she settles in she loves attention!”

Halle Berry Reacts After Netflix Offers $20 Million to Buy Her Directorial Debut!

Halle Berry‘s upcoming movie Bruised is her directorial debut and it was just screened as a “work-in-progress” film at the Toronto Film Festival.

Variety has reported that Netflix is in talks to buy the movie for a massive $20 million and now Halle is reacting to the news!

“I am speechless. Thank you @netflix for believing in my vision, cannot wait for y’all to finally see #BruisedTheMovie. ♥️,” Halle tweeted with a link to the article.

Halle suffered some brutal injuries on set. She broke two ribs and it almost caused production to pause.

“I didn’t want to stop because I had prepared for so long,” Halle told Variety. “We had rehearsed; we were ready. So my mind, my director’s mind, was just — keep going. And I compartmentalized that, and I just kept going: ‘I’m not going to stop. I’ve come too far. I’m going to act as if this isn’t hurting. I’m going to will myself through it.’ And so we did.”

Halle recently got candid about fighting with director Bryan Singer on the set of X-Men.

Halle Berry Gets Candid About Fighting With Bryan Singer While Working on 'X-Men': 'Bryan Struggles'

Halle Berry is on the cover of Variety‘s latest issue, out now.

Here’s what the 54-year-old Academy Award-winning actress had to say…

On her experience working with Bryan Singer on X-Men:Bryan’s not the easiest dude to work with. I mean, everybody’s heard the stories — I don’t have to repeat them — and heard of his challenges, and what he struggles with. I would sometimes be very angry with him. I got into a few fights with him, said a few cuss words out of sheer frustration. When I work, I’m serious about that. And when that gets compromised, I get a little nutty. But at the same time, I have a lot of compassion for people who are struggling with whatever they’re struggling with, and Bryan struggles.”

On Catwoman: “The story didn’t feel quite right. I remember having that argument: ‘Why can’t Catwoman save the world like Batman and Superman do? Why is she just saving women from a face cream that cracks their face off?’ But I was just the actor for hire. I wasn’t the director. I had very little say over that.”

On a failed Bond spinoff for Berry’s character Jinx: “It was very disappointing. It was ahead of its time. Nobody was ready to sink that kind of money into a Black female action star. They just weren’t sure of its value. That’s where we were then.”

Another X-Men star came forward with their own experience of working with the director.
