Carrie Fisher Wanted Harrison Ford to Sing During Her Oscars In Memoriam Tribute

An unearthed interview has revealed Carrie Fisher had an unusual request for her future Oscars In Memoriam tribute.

Prior to her passing, the late Star Wars actress explained that she wanted Harrison Ford to sing during the segment.

“I asked him [at a party] if he would be in my death reel, and if he would sing…It’s just something I want,” she revealed in a 2010 interview with with the hosts of the Rebel Force Radio podcast.

Carrie jokingly added that she’d want him to sing “Melancholy Wookiee.”

She also explained that she got the idea when she watched the In Memoriam tribute for John Hughs, where numerous actors he worked with paid tribute to him.

“So, I figured they’ll bring out, depending on when it happens…There’s a lot of people they can bring out!” Carrie added.

Harrison Ford Steps Out For First Time Since Carrie Fisher's Passing

Harrison Ford has stepped out for the first time since the untimely passing of his Star Wars co-star Carrie Fisher.

The 74-year-old actor was joined by his wife Calista Flockart as they got off of a private plane and headed to their car with lots of luggage.

The couple was also joined by their 16-year-old son Liam (not pictured) as the family returned from a holiday vacation to Jackson Hole, Wyo.

Harrison released a statement following Carrie‘s death, writing that everyone will miss the “one-of-a-kind…brilliant, original” actress.

Carrie Fisher may have passed away but she will forever be remembered for her role as Princess Leia in Star Wars.

When she was just 19-year-old, Carrie landed the iconic role alongside Harrison Ford and Mark Hamill.

The Hollywood Reporter just released footage of Carrie‘s life-changing audition, where she can be seen running lines with Harrison.

Last year, Carrie, who didn’t like watching herself on screen, was shown the audition tape during a hilarious Good Morning America interview.

“I’m 19! Why wouldn’t I like watching that? You like it less as you roll along,” she joked.

Carrie Fisher Death: Harrison Ford Releases Statement

Harrison Ford, who played Han Solo in the Star Wars films, is remembering his co-star Carrie Fisher, who played love interest Princess Leia.

“Carrie was one-of-a-kind…brilliant, original. Funny and emotionally fearless,” Harrison said in a statement to Just Jared. “She lived her life, bravely…My thoughts are with her daughter Billie, her mother Debbie, her brother Todd, and her many friends. We will all miss her.”

It was confirmed that Carrie passed away today at age 60 after having a medical emergency on an airplane last week.

Harrison and Carrie made headlines last month when she revealed they had an affair during their Star Wars days.

Harrison Ford & 'Star Wars' Actors Send Love to Carrie Fisher

Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, and more actors from the Star Wars franchise are sending their love to Carrie Fisher after she suffered a major heart attack on an airplane.

The 60-year-old actress was reportedly unresponsive for 15 minutes and she’s currently being treated at UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles. There are conflicting reports out there to her condition.

Harrison, who played Han Solo, released a statement to THR.

“I’m shocked and saddened to hear the news about my dear friend,” he said. “Our thoughts are with Carrie, her family and friends.”

Ryan Gosling & Harrison Ford Hung Out in an Unexpected Location!

“They say never meet your heroes. But the addendum to that is: unless they’re Harrison Ford,” Ryan told the mag.

“Harrison didn’t start working until a month into production, so we had a lot of time to just imagine how that might be, and waiting for that moment to come, and hoping that we were making something that would be satisfying to him,” Ryan said about waiting to work with Harrison as the nerves grew.

Ryan also recalled one memorable time when they sat in a hot tub together.

“Talking to Harrison fully clothed in a hot tub is an experience I never thought I’d have,” Ryan added. “If you had told me a few years ago, I wouldn’t have believed it.”

The first footage from the upcoming movie Blade Runner 2049 starring Ryan Gosling and Harrison Ford has been released!

The new clip features Ryan walking into a building and encountering Harrison.

The full synopsis for the film has been revealed: “Thirty years after the events of the first film, a new blade runner, LAPD Officer K (Gosling), unearths a long-buried secret that has the potential to plunge what’s left of society into chaos. K’s discovery leads him on a quest to find Rick Deckard (Ford), a former LAPD blade runner who has been missing for 30 years.”

Also starring in the movie are Jared Leto, Robin Wright, Ana de Armas, Barkhad Abdi, Mackenzie Davis, Lennie James, and more. The film hits theaters on October 6, 2017.
