Chrissy Metz Recalls Time She Almost Got Kicked Out of 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' Audience!

Chrissy Metz made an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Tuesday (August 15) and recalled the time she was in the audience of the late-night show 10 years ago and nearly got escorted out by security.

The 36-year-old This Is Us star told Jimmy that Cheryl Hines was a guest at the time and that she was talking about being an alumni of Florida State University, the rival for University of Florida.

“Football is religion in the South,” Chrissy noted. “I love [Cheryl]. I don’t love the choice of school, but that’s fine.” Chrissy said she was cheering her college team during the commercial breaks, which lead to her getting intro trouble by security, who warned her more than once.

Chrissy also revealed the advice she received from Sylvester Stallone when he recently guest starred on This Is Us. “It’s so much about resilience and having a thick skin,” Chrissy said Sylvester told her. “Keep going.”

Jimmy Kimmel Calls Trump 'Unhinged,' Suggest We Make Him King Instead of President

Jimmy Kimmel has a plan to save the American people from the President of the United States, Donald Trump.

The talk show host changed up his opening monologue on Tuesday (August 15) after Trump made some shocking comments at a press conference, during which he seemingly sided with neo-Nazis and white supremacists.

Kimmel said that Trump is “unhinged” and a “total disaster” right now.

“I wouldn’t be lying if I said I would feel more comfortable if [Game of Thrones character] Cersei Lannister was running this country,” he said. “I don’t know who decided it would be a good idea to send him out there to talk to reporters today, but whoever did obviously misread his state of mind and the mood in this country right now. I think I can say this with reasonable certainty, the president is completely unhinged. The wheels are off the wagon and hurtling through space.”

Kimmel later suggested that we turn Trump into the King of the United States in hopes of removing his power as president.

“England has a Queen,” Jimmy said. “She lives in a palace – everyone makes a big deal when she shows up – she has no power at all. In the morning, they put a crown on her head and she stands there and waves, she goes back to bed. That’s it. If the Queen were to walk out on her balcony and strip off her top, nothing over there would change. The Queen could be completely bonkers – it would make no difference. She’d still be Queen, it’d still be fine. That’s what we need to do with Donald Trump. We need to set him up in castle – maybe in Florida – lead him to the top, and then lock the door to that castle. Everyone can call him ‘Your Highness’ – maybe we give him a scepter – and that’s that. He can sit there watching Fox and Friends, maybe chip a few golf balls out the window of his tower. There’s no way he turns that deal down – and we need to get creative here because enough is enough. Desperate times call for desperate measures. And I’m asking you, the people who supported Donald Trump, to step in and help for the good of this country. Mike Pence is ready, he’s boring. He’s relatively sane. He looks like a friendly neighbor you would borrow a lawn mower from. Let’s get him in there before it’s too late. Let’s make America Great Britain again!”

Jimmy Kimmel Reacts to Trump's Charlottesville Comments (Video)

Jimmy Kimmel is sharing his thoughts on how President Donald Trump has been handling the violent marches that erupted in Charlottesville, Va., where white nationalists have been clashing with counter-protestors.

The 49-year-old talk show host addressed the situation during his opening monologue on Monday night (August 14).

“We went into the weekend worrying about the fact that Kim Jong-un vowed to start a war by the middle of this month,” Jimmy said. “And we come out of it wondering if our president is cutting eye holes out of his bedsheets.”

“As you know, this weekend in Virginia, the worst people in the United States went to the hardware store, bought tiki torches, lit them up, and marched in Charlottesville,” he continued. “A non-violent protester was killed by a white supremacist and so the president – who is the president, by the way – went on television. … He started strong, and then he had to throw in ‘on many sides.’”

“Let’s not lay all the blame on the Nazis and the Klan, there were people who marched against them,” Jimmy joked, adding, “Then for two days he had no further comment. The one thing he decides to be quiet about is this! Of course, everyone went nuts because there weren’t many sides – there were two sides – and one of those sides had Nazis on it.”

“All he had to do was condemn the Nazis, it shouldn’t have been a difficult thing,” Jimmy said. “It’s not exactly a controversial stance, not like we asked him to come out against puppies.”

He also shared, “Angela Merkel, the German chancellor, called this rally ‘evil’ and ‘disgusting.’ You understand what that means? That means Germany is taking a stronger stance against Nazis than we are, and they invented them.”

Jimmy Kimmel Gives Update on Son, Says He Needs Two More Open Heart Surgeries

Jimmy Kimmel is giving fans an update on his three-month-old son Billy, who underwent open heart surgery just days after his birth.

The 49-year-old late-night host and his wife Molly McNearney, 39, shared an update last month as well, revealing that Billy was doing much better.

“Young Billy made his first visit to our office today. He’s juggling. He’s translating Flaubert from French into English,” Jimmy joked during a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter. “No – he smiles. That’s pretty much it. He is very interested in ceiling fans. He likes those a lot. I could get him to pay the same amount for Netflix just to watch ceiling fans.”

“And his health?” Jimmy added. “He has to have two more open heart surgeries. We would like to get them over with and not have to think about it all the time, but it could definitely be worse.”

We’re glad to hear Billy is still doing great!

Jim Parsons made an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Wednesday (August 9), and revealed what made him choose Iain Ermitage as the actor who will play young Sheldon Cooper in The Big Bang Theory‘s spin-off series Young Sheldon.

“They wrote the most trial-by-fire, two-page monologue and all these kids were coming in with it and they were all really good,” the 44-year-old actor told Jimmy. “But Iain, when his tape came in, it was mind-blowing and I thought, ‘he looks really young but he must be 13 to be able to do this’ – but he was 8.”

“He is such a man-child. He thinks like a man,” Jim added. “He’s fantastic. I didn’t think I was very good with kids but I’m fine with him. He’s such a sweet kid, too.”
