Lucy Hale is super colorful on the cover of Seventeen magazine’s June/July 2013 issue, on newsstands May 21.

The 23-year-old Pretty Little Liars star chatted with the magazine about her upcoming country music album!

“My album is something I’m really, really, really proud of,” Lucy said. “I’ve intentionally been quiet about it because I want the music to speak for itself. People are either going to love it or hate it. But I think that once they hear it, they’ll be like, ‘Okay, she loves this and is serious about it.’ This is my pride and joy—it’s my baby! I worked my butt off on it.’”

Patrick Schwarzenegger heads into a party during the last day of weekend two at the 2013 Coachella Music Festival on Sunday (April 21) in Indio, Calif.

“Happy foooooooooo tweeennttytyyyy everyone. Light em up,” the 19-year-old actor tweeted the day before on the infamous 4/20 day.

Lucy Hale, who was in attendance at the festival the weekend before, also went back for some more great music that same day.

Lucy Hale shows off her flower power while attending the 2013 Just Jared Music Festival Brunch on Saturday afternoon (April 13) at Miramonte Resort in Indian Wells, Calif.

Patrick Schwarzenegger was also in attendance at the bash with his Grown Ups 2 co-star David Henrie. The stars all met up with JustJared.com‘s Jared Eng inside the party!

“En route to Coachella. But obviously the quick pit stop at Morongo,” Patrick tweeted to his followers earlier in the week.

Lucy Hale and Logan Lerman announce the winner of an award on stage at the 2013 Kids’ Choice Awards held at the USC Galen Center on Saturday (March 23) in Los Angeles.

The 23-year-old Pretty Little Liars actress and the 21-year-old Percy Jackson actor presented the award for Favorite Movie Actor to Dark Shadows‘ Johnny Depp.

“KCAs today…but only if I can be pulled away from this TV show “paranormal state”…this is gooood television,” Lucy tweeted before the show.

“And I promise I’ll have music news for you soon! Hang in there with me. It’ll be worth it!” Lucy added.

FYI: Lucy is wearing a Dior dress, Brian Atwood shoes, a Nancy Gonzalez purse, a Bauble Bar necklace, Norman Silverman earrings, and Dana Rebecca rings. Logan is wearing Simon Miller jeans.

“Last night with @NylonMag was incredible. Thanks to everyone that came out!” she later tweeted along with a pic of the cake featuring her cover.

Lucy Hale is a pretty little cover girl for Nylon‘s December 2012/January 2013 issue.

Here is what the 23-year-old Pretty Little Liars actress had to share with the mag:

On the relationships in her life: “I’ve had to really put things in check and be, like, This is who I need in my life. I’m trying to weed out.[...]What’s the expression? ‘If it doesn’t better you or grow you or make you happy, why are you in the situation?’ Every relationship I’ve had, I’ve learned something good and positive. I’m 23. I’m a woman, but I’m not fully the person that I think I will be. We’re all just trying to figure it out. Some of us just have to do it publicly.”

On her upcoming music career and recording a country album: “I’m learning [guitar] on a Baby Taylor – I have small hands! It’s going to be me. It’ll be raw. That’s definitely the joy of songwriting.”

On her own idea about how she’d like Pretty Little Liars to end: “I want it to be a Bonnie and Clyde thing. Where Aria and Ezra are in it together. Or Spencer and Toby. But something romantic, [where] you root for them [even though] they’re the bad guys.”
