Timothee Chalamet is starring in the first Dune trailer!

The 24-year-old Oscar-nominated actor stars in the new sci-fi action movie directed by Denis Villeneuve alongside Zendaya, Jason Momoa, Oscar Isaac, Josh Brolin, and Rebecca Ferguson.

Dune is a 1965 novel by Frank Herbert and the book was turned into a 1984 movie starring Kyle MacLachlan.

Michelle Williams & Oscar Isaac Will Star in an HBO Limited Series!

Michelle Williams and Oscar Isaac will lead the cast of an upcoming HBO limited series, Scenes From a Marriage.

The series is an adaptation of the Ingmar Bergman series of the same name, which was released on Swedish television back in 1973.

Variety reports that the “new version is said to re-examine the show’s depiction of love, hatred, desire, monogamy, marriage and divorce through the lens of a contemporary American couple.”

Michelle and Oscar will serve as executive producers in addition to starring in the series, which has been in the works at HBO for years.

Last year, Michelle won the Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Limited Series or Movie for her work in the FX series Fosse/Verdon. It sounds like we might be seeing her there again in the future!

Michelle had some exciting news announced last month.

Oscar Isaac Probably Won't Be Back For Future 'Star Wars' Installments Unless This Happens

Oscar Isaac is pretty much done with Star Wars.

The actor, who brought Poe Dameron to life in three of the franchises movies, says that he’ll only return for one reason.

“I enjoyed the challenge of those films and working with a very large group of incredible artists and actors, prop makers, set designers, and all that was really fun,” he shared with Deadline about what he enjoyed of being part of the movies.

Oscar added though that Star Wars wasn’t “what I set out to do. What I set out to do was to make handmade movies, and to work with people that inspire me…Paul Scrader’s movies, the things that he’s made, it’s in my DNA.”

When the question of if he’d return in the role, Oscar admitted he “probably” wouldn’t, only “if I need another house or something.”

Turns out that one of Oscar‘s co-stars doesn’t intend to return to Star Wars either.

'Dune' Is Heading to Europe for Additional Shooting in August

Dune is getting more material.

The highly anticipated Denis Villeneuve project, which co-stars Timothee Chalamet, Rebecca Ferguson, Zendaya and Oscar Isaac, is heading to Hungary to film additional content this summer, Deadline reported on Thursday (June 18).

The film, which is slated to be released on December 18, is not planning for a delay in release schedule.

“I understand that the extra shooting will not cause a delay and it will still release on that date. On a pic of this scale and ambition, shooting additional footage is pretty much par for the course and isn’t an indication of anything problematic with the existing material, which we hear is sizing up to be epic,” the report reads.

“The team are planning to head back to Budapest, Hungary, where the movie shot in 2019 at Origo Film Studios. Filming has also taken part in Jordan and Norway, and initially wrapped back in July last year.”

Oscar Isaac confirmed the news in an interview on the same day.

“We’re going to do some additional shooting in mid August…they’re saying in Budapest in Hungary. I saw some things cut together and it just looks amazing. Denis [Villeneuve] is a real artist and it will be exciting to see it come together. It’s kind of wild that we’re doing some additional shooting a few months before it’s supposed to come out, but that happened with Star Wars as well,” he said.

Cate Blanchett Boards James Gray's New Movie With Anne Hathaway, Robert De Niro & More

Cate Blanchett has lined up another movie to star in alongside Robert De Niro and Anne Hathaway.

Deadline reports that the three actors will join Oscar Isaac and Donald Sutherland in James Gray‘s followup movie to Ad Astra, called Armageddon Time.

The movie is described as “a big-hearted coming-of-age story that explores friendship and loyalty against the backdrop of an America poised to elect Ronald Reagan as president.”

James also says that it’s based on his childhood memories.

“Every film you make is different, but I’m trying to do something that is the opposite of the vast, lonely and dark void of the movie I just directed,” he shared. “I’m anxious to make something that is very much about people, about human emotions and interactions between people, and I want it to be filled with warmth and tenderness.”

James went on, “In some sense, yes it’s about my childhood, but an illustration of familial love really on every level. I’m of the belief that most people do their best and that they try their best under difficult circumstances and in some sense that’s a beautiful thing and very moving to me.”

Cate also lined up three other movies to star in while quarantining at home during the pandemic. Check them out here!

Oscar Isaac Will Star in 'London' Directed by Ben Stiller

Oscar Isaac is set to star in London, Deadline reports.

The film will be based on a short story concept from crime writer, Jo Nesbo and Oscar will be producing the pic, with Ben Stiller behind the camera as director.

Lionsgate president Erin Westerman shared a statement on the movie, saying, “This is an incredible team of filmmaking that has come together for this project. Eric [Roth] is a master storyteller whose screenplays are canonized in film history; Ben’s work as a filmmaker, including his latest accomplishment, Escape at Dannemora, is astounding; Oscar is a force in all that he does, both behind and in front of the camera.”

She added, “As Eric adapts Jo Nesbo’s evocative and memorable short story into an incredible film, we’re confident that Ben will bring all of the tension and emotion in directing London – and Oscar will not only give a riveting and dynamic performance, but as the producer leading the process to bring this team together, has an incredible energy and passion for the material.”

“As fans, we are thrilled this tour de force of talent came together for such a compelling story, and as a studio, we are honored they chose Lionsgate.”

Stay tuned for more information about the movie as it gets released.

Next up, Oscar will be seen in Dune, opposite Timothee Chalamet.
