Carey Mulligan and Justin Timberlake star in the red band trailer for their upcoming film Inside Llewyn Davis.

The film follows a week in the life of a young folk singer (Oscar Isaac) as he navigates the Greenwich Village folk scene of 1961. Guitar in tow, huddled against the unforgiving New York winter, he is struggling to make it as a musician against seemingly insurmountable obstacles — some of them of his own making.

Inside Llewyn Davis, which was written and directed by Ethan & Joel Coen, will be released on December 6 and also stars Garrett Hedlund and John Goodman.
