Sam Page takes the cover of Bello magazine’s latest issue.

The 34-year-old actor, who wore plaid prints from Moods of Norway, shared that he’s hoping to avoid holiday hysteria this year. “[I'm] trying to make it through the holidays with my sanity intact,” he dished, adding that he’s hoping to join a hockey league as part of his ongoing new year’s resolutions.

Sam Page takes off his shirt for a recent People shoot where he was named Sexy Man of the Week!

The 35-year-old Gossip Girl star opened up about one requirement for potential relationships,

“I watch football all day on Sunday,” Sam, a Green Bay Packers fan, told the magazine.

“It’s a dealbreaker if [a date] doesn’t understand, but a [relationship] would be cemented if she wants to cheer for them!”

Here’s what the 33-year-old Mad Men and upcoming Gossip Girl star had to share:

On working with Christina Hendricks and Blake Lively: “It doesn’t take much imagination to fall for them between ‘action’ and ‘cut.’ Every scene I’ve had with those two is driven, in some way, by either love or attraction. Not a bad way to make a living.”

On if he’s into the “plus-size” phenomenon Christina has re-popularized: “I can’t say whether I am or am not into ‘plus size,’ but I am most certainly into beautiful women, and I think we can all agree that Christina is a – if not THE – definitively beautiful woman.”

On his biggest accomplishment: “Getting a college degree.” (FYI, Sam graduated from Princeton University with a degree in biology!)

On his most treasured possession: “My dog, though I don’t really think of her
as a possession. She’s a four-year-old golden retriever.”

The 33-year-old actor is currently filming a story arc on Gossip Girl – Sam was spotted smooching Blake Lively on the set last week! Here’s what Sam had to share:

On playing the bad guy: “Playing bad guys is a new thing for me, and I have found that it is true, bad guys have much more fun. THey don’t get the girl, and usually end up dead or doing a stretch in prison, but they do have more fun on camera. I like playing them especially because the real me is quite the opposite. It’s always more fun to play something that is a departure from who you really are. It’s more fun filling out the character form a completely creative place, and to allow a glimpse into the dark side of yourself, one that we all have.”

On his fashion style: “I am a total sneaker-phile. T-shirts and jeans and some dope kicks. However, I do absolutely love to wear a beautiful suit. There’s nothing better than a crisp, well tailored suit. I guess I would describe my fashion style as classic, as I tend to stay away from trends, trendy being the opposite of classic, by definition. Why would one want to dress diametrically as opposed to classically?”

Blake Lively lets the girls out to play while shooting a scene with new Gossip Girl star Sam Page in New York City on Tuesday afternoon (August 31).

The 22-year-old actress, who wore a sexy peek-a-boob top, locked arms with Sam and played his new love interest. Sam‘s first episode is expected to air in October.

The fourth season of Gossip Girl kicks off on Sept. 13 on The CW!
