Christopher Nolan Reveals If He'll Direct Another Superhero Movie After 'Dark Night' Trilogy

Christopher Nolan‘s Dark Knight trilogy are some of the most beloved superhero movies of all time, but does he intend to return to the genre?

The Oppenheimer director worked with Christian Bale to bring Batman to life in the trio of movies, which began with Batman Begins in 2005 and concluded with The Dark Knight Rises in 2012.

Over the years, he collaborated with the likes of Heath Ledger, Anne Hathaway, Morgan Freeman, Katie Holmes and his Oppenheimer star Cillian Murphy in the fictional, crime-riddled Gotham City.

During a recent interview, Christopher was asked if he had any plans to make another superhero movie.

Pierce Brosnan was once in the running to play Batman, and he is looking back on his campaign to embody the caped crusader.

The 69-year-old Black Adam star was interested in playing Bruce Wayne (aka Batman) in Tim Burton‘s big-screen adaptation of the DC hero. The role ultimately went to Michael Keaton. However, others including George Clooney, Christian Bale and Robert Pattinson have played Batman over the years.

Danny DeVito is sharing his true thoughts on Colin Farrell‘s performance as Penguin in The Batman… and we know they are true because he made the comments during a lie detector test!

The 77-year-old actor is the latest celeb to participate in Vanity Fair‘s lie detector test series and he did it with his daughter Lucy.

During the interview, Lucy slid a photo of Colin across the table and asked her dad to share his thoughts on the actor’s performance.

Danny played Penguin in 1992′s Batman Returns while Colin played the role in 2022′s The Batman.
