The 34-year-old actor and 24-year-old actress were joined at the event by their fellow network stars including Hart of Dixie‘s Jaime King, Arrow‘s Stephen Amell, David Ramsey, Katie Cassidy, Emily Bett Rickards, Colton Haynes, Willa Holland, and Susanna Thompson, The Carrie Diaries‘ AnnaSophia Robb and Austin Butler, Beauty and the Beast‘s Kristin Kreuk, Reign‘s Adelaide Kane and The Tomorrow People‘s Robbie Amell, CW president Mark Pedowitz, and more.

AnnaSophia Robb and Austin Butler hit the black carpet at the 2013 CW Upfront Presentation held at the London Hotel on Thursday (May 16) in New York City.

The actors were joined by their Carrie Diaries co-star Brendan Dooling at the event to present the network’s 2013-14 schedule to advertisers.

Beauty and the Beast stars Kristin Kreuk and Jay Ryan were also in attendance at the event.

“I was shocked when I read the script. It was shocking. And I was sad by it. But humans make mistakes and he’s human. From my point of view, if that happened to me, I don’t know how I could forgive someone. But at the same time when you’re young and it’s first love, it’s so tumultuous because you never think you can survive without that person,” Austin told JustJared.com on the red carpet about [SPOILER ALERT] his character Sebastian cheating on Carrie with her best friend Maggie.

Vanessa Hudgens hits the purple carpet at Material Girl’s Madonna Fashion Evolution Retrospective on Thursday (April 25) at Macy’s in Century City, Calif.

The 24-year-old actress was joined at the event by The Carrie Diaries‘ AnnaSophia Robb, Glee‘s Darren Criss, Gossip Girl‘s Michelle Trachtenberg, and model Ireland Baldwin.

“The pop-up exhibit at Macy’s perfectly exemplifies the inspiration and spirit of the Material Girl line and will give my fans a great opportunity to see the evolution of my style over the years,” Madonna said.

Hailee Steinfeld arrives at the City Year Los Angeles 2013 Spring Break: Destination Education event held at Sony Pictures Studios on Saturday night (April 20) in Culver City, Calif.

The fundraiser supports the work of 275 AmeriCorps members who serve as tutors and role models to more than 4,000 students who are at risk of dropping out of school.

The 35-year-old Star Trek Into Darkness actor and AnnaSophia, 19, were joined by Alanis Morissette, Amy Smart and her hubby Carter Oosterhouse, Gilles Marini, Matt Lanter and his fiance Angela Stacy, Wilmer Valderrama, Anthony Mackie, Leigh Lezark, and Kiehl’s President Chris Salgardo.

Here’s what the 19-year-old The Carrie Diaries actress had to share with the mag:

On making out with her co-star Austin Butler: “One of the biggest challenges for us is to be sexy and flirty on camera because we just can’t take each other seriously any more—kissing on camera isn’t that fun! But he’s so cute! He talks about Vanessa [Hudgens] all the time. They’re crazy in love! I don’t think I’m ready to be that in love. They put so much time into their relationship, and I’m too selfish right now.”

On dealing with high school drama: “I think girls are especially worried about being judged, and when you’re in high school, everything seems like a bigger deal than it is. As soon as you’re out, it feels like forever ago—zip-a-dee-doo-dah! So do what you want, and if people are going to judge you for it, who cares? You might not fit in, but that’s okay. Everyone thought I was weird in high school!”

On deferring admission to Stanford to star on The Carrie Diaries: “I’m a spiritual person. So I prayed and thought about it a lot, but I trusted my gut, because what else do you have to go on?”
