Celine Dion Goes to Number One on Dance Club Songs Chart!

Celine Dion is probably not the singer who comes to mind when you think about songs played in a dance club, but she’s topping that Billboard chart!

The singer just went to number one on the Billboard Dance Club Songs chart with her song “Ashes,” which was featured in the movie Deadpool 2. The remix from Steve Aoki and Riddler helped the song reach the chart’s peak.

This is Celine‘s third time going to number one on this chart. She previously did it in 1994 with “Misled” and in 2008 with “Taking Chances.”

You can listen to the remix below!

The “My Heart Will Go On” powerhouse performer revealed the unfortunate news on Facebook on Wednesday (March 21).

The performances scheduled between March 27 and April 18 have been canceled.

Celine has been dealing with a condition in her middle ear known as Patulous Eustachian tube, which causes hearing irregularities, and makes it extremely difficult to sing. She has been experiencing this condition for the past 12-18 months but it has been successfully treated with various ear drop medications. During the past couple of weeks these medications have no longer been working to treat the condition, so she will undergo a minimally invasive surgical procedure to correct the problem,” the notification reads.

“My luck hasn’t been very good lately…I’ve been so looking forward to doing my shows again and this happens…I just can’t believe it! I apologize to everyone who planned to travel to Las Vegas to see my show. I know how disappointing this is, and I’m so sorry,” Celine added in a personal statement.

Get well soon, Celine!
