On Ryan Gosling, her How to Catch a Monster director: “People respond to him strongly because he’s so nice and so talented…handsome.”

On struggling in Hollywood: “I was crying before I went in [to her Mad Men audition] I was just so desperate. I was like, ‘I’m not going to get this,’ and my friend said, ‘It’s your role.’”

On dressing for her husband: “At home, I put on a low-cut caftan, and he’s like, ‘Babe, you look great.’”

The 32-year-old actor’s girlfriend Eva Mendes is starring in the film alongside his Drive co-star Christina Hendricks. They were both spotted on set that day as well!

How to Catch a Monster, which is also written by Ryan, is about a single mother (Hendricks) who is swept into a dark underworld, while her teenage son discovers a road that leads him to a secret underwater town.

January Jones keeps it chic while attending the BAFTA panel and reception for her hit show Mad Men held at the Harvard Club on Monday (April 22) in New York City.

The 35-year-old actress was joined by her co-stars Christina Hendricks, Jon Hamm, Vincent Kartheiser, Kiernan Shipka, John Slattery, and Jessica Pare.

On the same day, January was spotted promoting the show on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, while Christina rocked sunglasses during a stroll in the Big Apple.

FYI: January is wearing a Versace jacket, Parker skirt, and Miu Miu shoes at the BAFTA panel. She wore a Parker top, Jbrand leather pants, and Dolce&Gabbana shoes for her Late Night with Jimmy Fallon appearance.

January Jones and Christina Hendricks make their entrances into the studio to tape an appearance on Katie on Monday (April 22) in New York City.

The ladies were joined by their Mad Men castmates Jon Hamm, Vincent Kartheiser, Kiernan Shipka, and Jessica Pare for the talk show appearance.

The day before, January was spotted at LAX Airport catching a flight from Los Angeles to the Big Apple.

Later this evening, the cast will be attending a BAFTA NY screening of their show.

Christina Hendricks catches a cab outside LAX Airport after landing on an inbound flight on Monday (April 15) in Los Angeles.

The 37-year-old Mad Men star was joined for her arrival by her husband Geoffrey Arend.

Christina recently spoke with Collider about Mad Men possibly ending after season seven.

“Technically, that is what we all contractually, I think, have decided on,” Christina said. “I am putting it out there into the world that I am hoping that Matt [Weiner, Mad Men creator] changes his mind and decides he wants to write a couple more seasons because I would do it gladly and with bells on. So, I am putting it out there in the universe that we get more.”

Here’s what the 37-year-old Mad Men actress had to share with the mag:

On starring in Ryan Gosling‘s film How to Catch a Monster: “Talk about feeling intimidated. Ryan called me and asked me if I was interested in doing this film and I said: ‘One, of course, yes, and two, why me? And three, I don’t want to disappoint you.’ He’s been fantastic, involving me artistically and letting me be along the road of casting and costume design. I’ve seen story boards and imagery and I’ve heard music. It’s the largest role I’ve ever had, so this is one I’m definitely aware of my anxiety about.”

On rejection in Hollywood: “I’ve been to a million auditions and have been rejected a million times, so it’s something that I’m used to. You’re either right for it or you’re not right for it. You could leave thinking you had the best audition in the world and they say you don’t look like the person I imagined. It has nothing to do with your talent. Someone could have just broken up with a redhead the other day and not want to hire me.”

On paparazzi: “I’m not out doing crazy things! I’m just not that famous, to be honest. I get to live a very normal life. I don’t have a situation like Jennifer Aniston, where I have people camped outside my house. I can take the garbage out and walk down the street and have ramen and it’s fine.”
