Michael Keaton Is Not Jealous of Ben Affleck: 'I'm Batman!'

Channing Tatum Felt Like a Failure After Dropping Out of College

Channing Tatum gets serious with fellow actors Eddie Redmayne, Benedict Cumberbatch, Ethan Hawke, Michael Keaton, and Timothy Spall for THR‘s new 2014 Actor Roundtable issue.

The 34-year-old actor opened up about his experience getting into acting and why it made sense for him.

“The pressure of what school is projected as, when you’re growing up — that going to college is the answer, and to me it wasn’t,” Channing said. “I went and I didn’t get it. And I failed at it miserably. And I felt like a failure for it. And so I went and tried to find another door.”

Michael chimed in, “That’s not a failure at all. To me, that’s a victory. He said, ‘I’m going to do what’s me.’”

Also pictured below: Channing leaves a dance studio on Thursday (December 4) in Los Angeles.

FYI: Channing is wearing a Tommy Bahama cardigan and a 7 For All Mankind denim shirt in the candids.
