Brie Larson Advocates for Diverse Critics at Women In Film Crystal + Lucy Awards 2018!

Ellen Pompeo, Brie Larson and Alison Brie hit the carpet while attending the Women In Film 2018 Crystal + Lucy Awards presented by Max Mara, Lancôme and Lexus at The Beverly Hilton Hotel on Wednesday (June 13) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The three ladies were joined at the event by Katherine Langford, Alice Eve, Regina Hall, Lake Bell, Michaela Watkins, Kate Flannery, Jane Lynch, Shohreh Aghdashloo, Rosanna Arquette, Diane Warren, Alexandra Shipp, Katherine McNamara, Chloe x Halle, Julissa Bermudez and Francia Raisa.

Brie was honored with The Crystal Award for Excellence in Film and took the opportunity to demand more diversity in film reviews.

“I don’t need a 40-year-old white dude to tell me what didn’t work about A Wrinkle in Time,” Brie said. “It wasn’t made for him! I want to know what it meant to women of color, biracial women, to teen women of color.”

“Am I saying I hate white dudes? No, I am not,” Brie continued. “What I am saying is if you make a movie that is a love letter to women of color, there is an insanely low chance a woman of color will have a chance to see your movie, and review your movie.”

Octavia Spencer Brings Together Lots of Celebs For City Year's Star-Studded Event!

It was a star-studded evening at City Year Los Angeles’ Spring Break: Destination Education event!

Jennifer Garner and Elizabeth Banks joined host Octavia Spencer at the fundraising event held at Sony Studios on Saturday (April 28) in Los Angeles.

Some of the other celeb guests included Josh Brolin and his wife Kathryn Boyd, Terry Crews, Garcelle Beauvais, Essence Atkins, Yvette Nicole Brown, Seth Green, Kevin Zegers, Thomas Middleditch, Adrianna Palicki, Jon Huertas, TR Knight, Jason Lewis, Abigail Spencer, and Eliza Coupe.

Guests enjoyed booths set up by Aramark, Comcast NBCUniversal, E!, Hulu, JP Morgan Chase/Atom Tickets, Karma Tequila, MarVista, PEOPLE, RealD, Sony, Twentieth Century Fox, Univision, Walmart, and Westfield, among others. The event was attended by 1,400 guests and raised $2.2 million for education!

Regina Hall & Brooklyn Decker Join Their Co-Stars at 'Support the Girls' SXSW Premiere

AJ Michalka, Regina Hall, Dylan Gelula, Haley Lu Richardson, and Brooklyn Decker walk the carpet at the premiere of Support the Girls during the 2018 SXSW Festival on Friday (March 9) at the Zach Theatre in Austin, Tex.

The ladies were joined at the premiere by Haley‘s boyfriend Brett Dier, best known for his work on Jane the Virgin.

In the upcoming comedy, a restaurant manager tries to raise money to help one of her employees, but when the owner finds out he does whatever he can to shut the fundraiser down.

Olivia Munn is all smiles while hitting the carpet at the 2018 Vanity Fair Oscar Party at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts on Sunday night (March 4) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The 37-year-old actress was joined at the event by Gabrielle Union and Regina Hall, as well as Lena Waithe and Jessica Williams.

“I’ve got to work on coming up with another look than this stupid face I make in pictures 🙈,” Olivia captioned on her Instagram post with Gabrielle, 45, and Regina, 47.

Tiffany Haddish Gets Honored with Rising Star Award at American Black Film Festival Honors 2018!

Tiffany Haddish is all smiles as she hits the carpet at the 2018 American Black Film Festival Honors Awards held at The Beverly Hilton Hotel on Sunday (February 25) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The 38-year-old Girls Trip star was joined at the event by Tracee Ellis Ross, Angela Bassett, Issa Rae, Regina Hall, Bresha Webb, Lil Rel Howery, Anika Noni Rose, Omari Hardwick, DeWanda Wise, Dennis Haysbert and Keesha Sharp.

Omari received the Distinguished ABFF Alumni Award and Tiffany was given the Rising Star Award at the ceremony, which also handed out competitive trophies to best TV comedy winners Black-ish and Insecure, best TV drama Queen Sugar, and movie of the year Get Out.
