There were so many stars at the 2024 Time100 Gala, including some cast members of The Color Purple.

Fantasia Barrino, Colman Domingo, and Taraji P. Henson were all honored at the event on Thursday night (April 25) at Jazz at Lincoln Center in New York City.

Some of the other celebs who stepped out for the event and are pictured in this gallery include Uma Thurman, Dev Patel, Maya Rudolph, Oscar winner Da’Vine Joy Randolph, Billy Porter, Maria Bello, Michael J. Fox, and Alex Edelman.

Also in attendance were a hugely popular sports star and one of the music industry’s top performers right now.

The 2024 Time100 is here!

Time Magazine‘s annual list of the 100 most influential people in the world was revealed on Wednesday (April 17), featuring a ton of our favorite stars, including Patrick Mahomes, with a tribute written by Alex Rodriguez, Taraji P. Henson (written by Mary J. Blige), America Ferrera (by Blake Lively) and Kylie Minogue (by Chris Martin).

More stars include Elliot Page, written by Raquel Willis, Fantasia Barrino (by Taraji) and Colman Domingo (by Lenny Kravitz).

So many stars attended the 55th Annual NAACP Awards on Saturday evening (March 16) at the Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall in Los Angeles.

The annual event featured a star-studded red carpet with appearances from the likes of Halle Bailey, Keke Palmer, Kerry Washington, Fantasia Barrino, Taraji P. Henson, Quinta Brunson and so many stars.

Jada Pinkett Smith is showing support for Taraji P. Henson.

After the 53-year-old The Color Purple actress went viral for addressing pay disparities in Hollywood as a Black woman, the 52-year-old Red Table Talk star spoke out in her defense.

While appearing on NPR’s It’s Been a Minute, Jada was asked by host Brittany Luse if she resonated with Taraji‘s comments.

The stars of The Color Purple were at the SAG Awards!

Danielle Brooks joined co-stars Taraji P. Henson, Halle Bailey, and more at the 2024 Screen Actors Guild Awards on Saturday (February 24) at the Shrine Auditorium & Expo Hall in Los Angeles.

The three ladies presented a clip from the movie during the show.

Also in attendance were Ciara, Colman Domingo, Corey Hawkins, and Phylicia Pearl Mpasi. Missing were Fantasia Barrino, H.E.R., Louis Gossett Jr., Jon Batiste, and Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor.

The Color Purple was nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture, but they lost to the cast of Oppenheimer.

There’s a huge series coming to Peacock, and it centers around a Muhammad Ali story!

The limited series Fight Night: The Million Dollar Heist has added several actors to its cast, featuring some high-profile names from the modeling and music worlds, as well as big actors.

Production on the series is set to begin this month. It was created and written by Shaye Ogbonna who will co-showrun and executive produce the project alongside Jason Horwitch.

Via Deadline: “The series, based on the eponymous iHeartPodcast, will tell the story of how on the night of Ali’s defeat of Jerry Quarry, which came after he was banned from boxing for refusing to enter the military draft, hundreds of guests at an after-party were robbed at gunpoint, becoming one of the largest armed robberies the country has ever seen. Fight Night, set in Atlanta, will focus on the cop and the hustler, at the center of it all.”

Taraji P. Henson is hitting back at all of the rumored drama surrounding The Color Purple.

There have been prevailing rumors throughout the press tour for the film – for which Oprah Winfrey acted as a producer – that the pair had some kind of tension between them.

Oprah, 69, has already denied the rumors that she and Taraji, 53, have been feuding and now Taraji is weighing in on the false narrative.
