Oscar Nominee Common Hosts Toasts to the Arts with Mary J. Blige, Andra Day, & More!

Host with the most Common poses for a photo with fellow Oscar nominee Mary J. Blige at the annual Toast to the Arts presented by Remy Martin on Friday (March 2) at Ysabel in West Hollywood, Calif.

Common, who won an Oscar in 2015 for Best Original Song, is nominated for the same award this year for “Stand Up for Something” from Marshall. Andra Day, his collaborator on the song, also attended the event!

Mary is a double nominee this year for Best Supporting Actress and Best Original Song.

Get Out‘s Daniel Kaluuya and Lil Rel Howery both attended the event, as did Tiffany Haddish and Mudbound director and screenwriter Dee Rees.

FYI: Common is wearing a Prada suit and shirt. Mary is wearing a Greta Constantine gown. Andra is wearing a Madiyah Al Sharqi top with matching skirt. Heineken was served at the party.

Oscars 2018 Performers Lineup Revealed - Find Out Who's Performing!

The performers for the 2018 Oscars have been revealed!

The awards show producers made the exciting lineup announcement on Friday (February 23).

Gael García Bernal, Mary J. Blige, Andra Day, Natalia Lafourcade, Miguel, Keala Settle, Sufjan Stevens and Common will perform this year’s nominated songs at the 90th Oscars, hosted by Jimmy
Kimmel
.

Gael, Natalia and Miguel will perform “Remember Me” from Coco.

Mary will perform “Mighty River” from Mudbound.

Common and Andra will perform “Stand Up For Something” from Marshall. Keala will perform “This Is Me” from The Greatest Showman, and Sufjan will perform “Mystery of Love” from Call Me by Your Name.

The 2018 Oscars will air live on March 4 on ABC at 8 p.m. ET.

Michael B. Jordan, Chadwick Boseman and Cardi B are loving the courtside view!

The three stars were all spotted at the 2018 NBA All-Star Game at the Staples Center on Sunday night (February 18) in Los Angeles.

Mary J. Blige looked lovely in white while at the 2018 Academy Awards Nominee Luncheon!

The 47-year-old singer and actress stepped out at the event held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Monday (February 5) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The annual event celebrates all of the people nominated for Oscars this year!

Mary is a double nominee who is up for Best Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture for her role in Mudbound as well as Best Original Song for “Mighty River.”

She was joined at the event by fellow nominees Kobe Bryant, who is up for Best Animated Film for Dear Basketball, Dee Rees, Common and Andra Day.

Mark Ruffalo Joins Patricia Arquette, Andra Day, & More Stars at 'People's State Of The Union'

Mark Ruffalo flashed his “We Are All Dreamers” tee at The People’s State Of The Union!

The 50-year-old actor spoke on stage at the event held at Townhall on Monday (January 29) in New York City.

He was joined by Michael Moore, Patricia Arquette, Andra Day, Common, and Cynthia Nixon.

The evening of speeches and music was held in response to President Donald Trump‘s first State of the Union address on Tuesday.

Hosts of the event included organizers of the Women’s March and Planned Parenthood.

“The one silver lining in Trump is that we have created the mother of all movements,” Mark told the crowd (via Variety). “We’ll strengthen our bonds and commitments to each other for long after the Trump era comes to its rightful end. We aren’t stopping with Trump.”
