Elijah Wood and Liv Tyler arrive for the premiere of The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey on Thursday (December 6) at the Ziegfeld Theatre in New York City.

The 31-year-old actor was joined by his co-stars Ian McKellen (in head-to-toe Unconditional), Andy Serkis, Martin Freeman, and director Peter Jackson.

Magic Mike actress Cody Horn also stepped out for the event!

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, the first in the brand new trilogy, will hit theaters next Friday, December 14. We can’t wait!

FYI: Elijah is wearing a Black Fleece by Brooks Brothers suit, oxford cloth button down shirt and tartan tie. Liv is wearing Tabitha Simmons Ruby heels. Cody is wearing a Thakoon outfit and Christian Louboutin shoes.

James Franco penned a well thought out piece about his co-star Andy Serkis for Awardsline.

The 33-year-old actor argues that Andy is the soul of Planet of the Apes and deserves credit from fellow actors.

“Andy Serkis is the undisputed master of the newest kind of acting called ‘performance capture,’” James writes,” And it is time that Serkis gets credit for the innovative artist that he is.”

James Franco shares a funny moment with his Rise of the Planet of the Apes co-stars, Freida Pinto and Andy Serkis, as they make an appearance on The View on Thursday (August 4) in New York City.

The 33-year-old actor and his co-stars have been making the promotional rounds over the past few days!

Freida and James dropped by The Late Show with David Letterman on Monday, while Freida also visited The Daily Show early in the week.

Freida Pinto grabs some Indian food to go on Tuesday (July 27) in Vancouver, Canada.

The 25-year-old Indian actress picked up food from Rangoli, which sells frozen and refrigerated ready-to-eat Indian dishes, and freshly roasted and ground Indian spices.

Freida just returned from a full day working on her new movie, Rise of the Apes, opposite James Franco. Also spotted on set: John Lithgow and Andy Serkis (wearing a motion capture suit).
