MGM Resorts International is addressing all of the reports that Bruno Mars owes them millions of dollars.

Last week, it was reported that the 38-year-old “Locked Out of Heaven” singer – who signed a multi-year residency with the company back in 2016 – racked up a debt of $50 million from gambling at the Las Vegas casino.

“[MGM] basically own him. He makes $90 million a year off of the deal he did with the casino, but then he has to pay back his debt,” an insider told NewsNation, claiming that Bruno only makes $1.5 million per show after taxes.

Then on Monday (March 18), MGM released a statement responding to Bruno‘s debt reports.

We’re not even a full month into 2024, and we’ve already gotten so much new music!

We’ve been diving into new bops and bangers, but we’ve also been celebrating special anniversaries for some of our favorite hits from yesteryear.

For example, Ariana Grande‘s “7 rings” turns 5, Taylor Swift‘s “Shake It Off” debuted 10 years ago, Lady Gaga‘s “Bad Romance” will be 15, Usher‘s “Yeah” is almost old enough to drink and Christina Aguilera‘s “Genie in a Bottle” is celebrating its 25th birthday!

That’s barely scratching the surface, too. With the new year so close, we dug through the archives and pulled together 50 songs that have special birthdays in 2024.

Over the years, a multitude of major hits have had their day in court, often due to complaints of copyright infringement.

For instance, take the legal battle over “Blurred Lines,” which played out extensively in the press over the years. We promise more details on that are to come, by the way.

But Robin Thick and Pharrell Williams‘ hit wasn’t the only example in recent memory. Some artists have even been sued multiple times.

We’re less than four months away from the 2024 Coachella Music Festival and we still don’t know who will be headlining, but there are some rumors floating around.

The 2023 lineup was announced on January 10, so we might be getting an announcement very soon.

Bruno Mars‘ concert in Israel has been cancelled hours before he was set to take the stage.

On Saturday (October 7), the 37-year-old “Uptown Funk” singer was scheduled to perform for the second night in a row at Yarkon Park in Tel Aviv, however, the concert was cancelled following an attack by the Hamas militant group.
