John Travolta Appears as Santa Claus in Capital One's Christmas Commerical - Watch!

John Travolta is taking us to the North Pole!

The 66-year-old Grease actor is appearing as Santa Claus in Capital One‘s new Christmas commercial.

The commercial catches John as Santa going through his online Christmas shopping list.

John‘s Pulp Fiction co-star Samuel L. Jackson – who has been a longtime Capital One credit card spokesperson – then makes an appearance on Santa’s laptop screen.

“Hold your reindeer, Santa!” Samuel says, before sharing some tips on how to save money this holiday season.

“So that get me off your naughty list?” Samuel asks after sharing his tips.

“Are you off the naughty words?” Santa jokes back.

The commercial then ends with Santa and Mrs. Claus dancing to Chuck Berry’s “Run Rudolph Run” – recreating John‘s moves from Pulp Fiction.

An Owl Stowed Away On The Rockefeller Christmas Tree!

There was a stowaway on the Rockefeller Christmas Tree – a tiny owl!

The Saw-wheat owl was found in the branches of the tree by the staff as it was delivered to the Big Apple this week, and he’s now recuperating from his big trip at the Ravensbeard Wildlife Center.

The bird, apparently, couldn’t part with his favorite tree and took the trip all the way down to New York City, which was 170 miles away from home in Oneonta, New York.

“We’ve given him fluids and are feeding him all the mice he will eat,” the center posted on Facebook, as they shared the cute story with their followers. “It had been three days since he ate or drank anything.”

The center added that the owl is doing good so far: “His eyes are bright and seems relatively in good condition with all he’s been through. Once he checks in with the vet and gets a clean bill of health, he’ll be released to continue on his wild and wonderful journey.”

The Rockefeller Christmas Tree got a lot of sideways looks this year, as it lost a branch or two in transport and many online have been comparing it to the tree seen in It’s Christmas, Charlie Brown!

The tree will be decorated and make its debut on December 1.

New York City is gearing up for the holiday festivities, starting with the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.

Find out who’s performing and how it’s being pulled off in the era of coronavirus…

Here's How Lifetime Pulled Off Kissing Scenes in Their Christmas Movies During COVID

We’re officially in the season of Lifetime and Hallmark holiday movies, with almost every weekend leading up to the big day full of heartfelt, adorable, and cheesy romance movies about the holiday.

Most viewers who always look forward to these movies for the season were a little afraid the networks weren’t going to be able to pull it off with not only production, but also how their actors were supposed to seal their romance with a kiss during a pandemic.

In a new series of interviews with TheWrap, Lifetime‘s Amy Winter, the head of programming at the network revealed that they figured out a way to be safe and still have those important kissing scenes in the movies.

“Everybody was incredibly concerned about, as we were figuring it out, making sure that we were following the best possible guidelines to keep people safe,” she shared. “We all sat down, even before we got started, saying, how is anybody even going to kiss in these movies, given the circumstances?”

Amy added that the “greatest, oddest solution I’ve seen so far is people kissing through plexiglass that can be removed in post, which is absolutely phenomenal.”

One movie in particular, called Christmas Ever After, used the plexiglass between stars Ali Stroker and Daniel di Tomasso. In addition to the plexiglass, the actors and crew also wore a face mask and shield when they were on set.

Christmas Ever After premieres on December 6 on Lifetime.

Kelly Clarkson & Carrie Underwood Both Dropped Christmas Songs Today - Listen Now!

Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood have something in common today, other than being the two most iconic winners in American Idol history!

The singers both dropped new Christmas songs today (November 13).

Kelly has released a cover of Vince Vance & The Valiants‘ classic song “All I Want for Christmas Is You,” which is a different song than the Mariah Carey one.

She also has release a new original Christmas duet with Brett Eldredge, “Under the Mistletoe.”

“I have been singing Vince Vance & the Valiants’ song ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You’ since I was a little kid. I always loved that it’s a ballad but the woman always sounded so rock n’ roll with her raspy tone on the big notes. It has an old school vibe and is a little pop, country, and rock n’ roll,” Kelly said in a statement.

Carrie has dropped a new original holiday song called “Favorite Time of Year,” which you can hear exclusively on Amazon Music. The song is available to stream individually and as a bonus track on Amazon Music’s version of her debut Christmas album, My Gift.

“Favorite Time of Year” will also be featured in Ring’s brand-new Doorbell Season holiday campaign. You can watch the commercial below.

The Jonas Brothers surprised their fans this week with the announcement of their new holiday song “I Need You Christmas” and now the song is here!

The new holiday ballad is a follow-up to their more upbeat song from last year, “Like It’s Christmas.”

The brothers said in a joint statement, “With having such a crazy year, we all really need something to look forward to. The Holidays is a time that brings us together and is something that brings us joy in the darkest of times. For us, this song stirs up memories of childhood snowball fights and finding the nearest hill to sled. It brings us back to spending time with family setting up the Christmas tree. Hopefully it can bring you guys the same feelings of warmth and happiness that creating it has brought us. We love you guys very much!”

Earlier today, Nick responded to a crazy conspiracy theory that involved the JoBros.
