Eminem Says He's Proud of Daughter Hailie, Gushes About Her in New Interview!

Eminem is gushing about his 24-year-old daughter Hailie Scott Mathers in a new interview!

The 47-year-old rapper chatted with boxer Mike Tyson on his Hotboxin podcast.

“No babies, she has a boyfriend, but she’s doing good,” Eminem said. “She’s made me proud for sure. She’s graduated from college.”

Hailie graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in psychology and she met her boyfriend Evan McClintock while at school.

“I have a niece that I have helped raise, too, that’s pretty much like a daughter to me, and she is 26, and I have a younger one that’s 17 now,” Eminem added (via Page Six). “So when I think about my accomplishments, that’s probably the thing I’m the most proud of is being able to raise kids.”

“It’s important to keep your kids grounded when they’re in a situation like I have, it’s very important,” he said. “People also think too that money just buys happiness, [but] that absolutely is not the truth. You’ve got to be right inside, otherwise none of this s–t means nothing.”

Hailie has a big following on Instagram with over 1.9 million followers!

Barbra Streisand Reacts to Eminem's Oscars Surprise, 17 Years After Presenting His Award

Barbra Streisand was the presenter of the Best Original Song category at the 2003 Oscars and she announced Eminem as the winner that year, though he wasn’t there to accept the award.

Eminem won the award for writing “Lose Yourself” for his hit movie 8 Mile. He didn’t attend because he reportedly didn’t think he would win as it’s an awards show for actors.

17 years later, Eminem made a surprise appearance at the Oscars to perform the winning song in a special moment dedicated to how music can change a movie.

“@eminem I had voted for your song too! Was really looking forward to handing you the award. Next time! 😜,” Barbra wrote on Instagram on late Monday night (February 10).

Billy Eichner Slams Eminem's Surprise Oscars 2020 Appearance

Billy Eichner was one of the celebrities who was not happy to see Eminem show up in a surprise performance at the 2020 Academy Awards on Sunday (February 9) at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.

“Well, you can still sing the word ‘f****t’ a million times and still perform at the Oscars that’s about ‘diversity.’ Mmkay,” Billy tweeted to his followers.

Eminem actually spoke in the past about his decision to use that word in his music, telling Rolling Stone, “It was more like calling someone a b*tch or a punk or a*shole,” he said. “So that word was just thrown around so freely back then…And, not saying it’s wrong or it’s right, but at this point in my career — man, I say so much sh*t that’s tongue-in-cheek.”

He continued, “I poke fun at other people, myself. But the real me sitting here right now talking to you has no issues with gay, straight, transgender, at all. I’m glad we live in a time where it’s really starting to feel like people can live their lives and express themselves. And I don’t know how else to say this, I still look at myself the same way that I did when I was battling and broke.”

Eminem once admitted he went “too far” by using this slur.
