Oscars 2015 Opening Number Video - Neil Patrick Harris & Anna Kendrick Perform 'Moving Pictures'!

Neil Patrick Harris starts the show off as the host and performs the opening number at the 2015 Academy Awards held at the Dolby Theatre on Sunday (February 22) in Hollywood.

The 41-year-old actor was joined on stage by Anna Kendrick, who reprised her role as Cinderella from Into the Woods for the number.

Jack Black also popped up during the opening and sang to the tune of “The Rap” from Into the Woods, which was Meryl Streep‘s song in the movie.

Celebs Check Out Lounges & Parties Around Sundance 2015

There are hundreds of celebrities roaming around the grounds of the 2015 Sundance Film Festival this weekend in Park City, Utah, so here’s just a small sampling of the lounges and parties some of them are attending.

Kellan Lutz was seen attending Friday night’s STK OUT by The ONE Group party with Rumor Fix and Abbot + Main. The next day he stopped by the IMDb and Amazon Instant Video Studio to chat about his movie Experimenter. Also at the studio was Slow West‘s Kodi Smit-McPhee.

Josh Hutcherson was spotted checking out the Merrell #TrailScape Oculus Rift experience on Friday evening.

Stepping out at parties at the KIA Supper Suite by STK throughout the weekend were Steven R. McQueen, Glassland‘s Toni Collette and Will Poulter, and The Bronze‘s Melissa Rauch.

D-Train co-stars James Marsden and Jack Black were among the celebrities spotted at both the Birchbox pop-up and the Music Lodge’s MTV Interview studio.

Jack Black Took the Best Sundance Portraits of All Time

Jack Black poses for some amazing portraits while stopping by the Village at the Lift presented by McDonald’s McCafe during the 2015 Sundance Film Festival on Friday (January 23) in Park City, Utah.

The 45-year-old actor was there with his D-Train co-stars James Marsden, Kathryn Hahn, and Russell Posner to promote their film before the premiere later in the night.

In the film, Jack and James have a sex scene that finds them kissing and much more.

“We saved it for the last day of shooting,” James said (via IndieWire). “The last week, Jack and I realized it wasn’t such a great idea, ’cause it sounded like we were saving it for celebration — to wrap the movie with that scene.”

FYI: James is wearing an Eddie Bauer Limited Edition by Ilaria Urbinati outfit with Trask boots at the premiere. Angela Bassett: Whitney Houston Was More Than an Icon

Angela Bassett and Queen Latifah attend the 2015 Winter Television Critics Association press tour at the Langham Hotel on Thursday (January 8) in Pasadena, Calif.

The ladies were joined by Amanda Peet, Jack Black, Pablo Schreiber, and Tim Robbins.

“We forget that she was a woman, a mother, a sister, a friend. We forget that.,” Angela said during the panel about directing Lifetime’s Whitney about Whitney Houston. “We see her as an icon. And I think we as a public, we consumed her talent, we would want to know everything about her life. But she was sensitive, she would say, ‘I just want to be normal, I just want to, you know, can I just have a normal day? Can I just be a person? Can you just see me as a person and not as a commodity?”

Jim Carrey Officially Set to Host 'Saturday Night Live' This Month

Jim Carrey is all smiles while attending the Hammer Museum’s Gala in the Garden on Saturday evening (October 11) in Westwood, Calif.

Also in attendance were fellow funny guys Will Ferrell (with wife Viveca Paulin) and Jack Black (with wife Tanya Haden).

It was just announced that Jim will officially be hosting an episode of Saturday Night Live later this month. He will be joined by musical guest Iggy Azalea for the October 25 episode.

Jim previously hosted the show in 1996 and 2011. He will be promoting his upcoming movie Dumb and Dumber To, in theaters on November 14.

'School of Rock' Television Series Has Found Its Jack Black Replacement in Comedian Tony Cavalero!

Nickelodeon’s School of Rock television series has found its Dewey Finn in actor and comedian Tony Cavalero!

The comedian – who regularly performs with The Groundlings in Los Angeles – has taken over the role that Jack Black made famous back in the 2003 film of the same name.

“I am so honored to be part of the rad legacy that is ‘School of Rock,’” Tony said in a statement (via The Wrap). ”Jack Black is one of my biggest comedy influences and I am ready to shred!”

Tony has previously appeared on Modern Family and 2 Broke Girls.

No premiere date has been set as of yet, but the show will have 13 episodes.

Will Ferrell & Jack Black Bring the Funny to Publicist's Wedding

Will Ferrell pairs his suit with a pair of shades while arriving at his publicist Matt Labov‘s wedding on Saturday afternoon (August 16) in Los Angeles.

The 47-year-old actor was joined at the nuptials by two of Matt‘s other funny clients, Jack Black and Judd Apatow, the latter of whom brought his wife Leslie Mann.
