Janet Jackson made a big announcement last month that new music and a tour would be coming – and she made her new album official today (June 3)!
BMG’s partnership with Janet‘s Rhythm Nation will release her first album in seven years this Fall. The album has yet to be named.
“Janet is not just a supreme artist, she is a unique cultural force whose work resonates around the world,” BMG CEO Hartwig Masuch said in a statement. “It is an honor that she has chosen BMG to release her long-awaited new album. We look forward to collaborating with her across every platform.”
“Thank you to the talented team at BMG, my new artistic home. The opportunity to be creative in music and every form of entertainment has great potential here,” Janet added. Her last album, Discipline, came out in 2008.
