Janet Jackson is enjoying a day out in London!

The 54-year-old “Rhythm Nation” singer stepped out to run a few errands on Thursday afternoon (July 2) in London, England.

Janet kept things super comfy in a black jacket over a black T-shirt and gray sweatpants as she spend the day running around town.

Janet has been enjoying time out of the spotlight over the past couple of months. The last time she was spotted out was back in February during her appearance on Fallon!

Janet Jackson is reacting to an incredibly emotional viral video, while also disclosing some new information about her early career plans.

The “Miss You Much” pop icon reacted to a video that’s gone viral made by @trillcami, who is seen shaving her eyebrows in solidarity with her sister, Gaby.

“This made me cry. I was actually going to shave my head for the janet. Tour and was going to talk to all the kids to do the same. I love a bald head, especially on a woman I think it’s beautiful! Janet Jackson Sends Message of Thanks to Everyone Still Working During Pandemic

Janet Jackson is thankful for everyone still working.

The 53-year-old entertainer took to her Twitter on Monday (March 30) to say thank you to everyone working hard during this worldwide health crisis.

“I want to take a moment to recognize & say Thank U to ALL the essential workers. You are seen & appreciated. Please stay safe. 🙏🏽,” Janet wrote.

Janet continued: “I want to take a moment to recognize and say thank you to the nurses, doctors, hospitals, healthcare providers, scientists, drivers, pilots, flight attendants, delivery teams, cleaners, grocery stores, clerks, managers, men and women in uniform, sanitation facilities, janitorial teams, reporters, journalists, security professionals and everyone around the world who are working nonstop to end the spread of the virus. Putting themselves at risk to protect, serve and provide for us.”

Janet then shared a message of positivity for her fans.

“Let’s all keep the positivity up by remembering to keep smiling, laughing, singing, dancing & spreading LOVE,” Janet concluded.

Janet Jackson is speaking out amid the ongoing global health crisis!

The 53-year-old iconic singer took to social media on Sunday night (March 22) to send a positive message in support of those who are trying their hardest to protect, serve, and provide for everyone in the middle of this crisis.

“Hey u guys! 😊 While most of us are inside there are many brave people around the world that aren’t able to be isolated because we need them,” Janet started her statement on Instagram.

“I want to take a moment to recognize and say thank you to the nurses, doctors, hospitals, healthcare providers, scientists, drivers, pilots, flight attendants, delivery teams, cleaners, grocery stores, clerks, teachers, managers, men and women in uniform, sanitation facilities, janitorial teams, reporters, journalists, security professionals and everyone around the world who are working nonstop to end the spread of the virus,” Janet continued. “Putting themselves at risk to protect, serve and provide for us. YOU are seen and forever appreciated. Thank U and please stay safe. 🙏🏽”

Janet Jackson Remembers 'Good Times' Mom Ja'Net DuBois After Her Death

Janet Jackson is remembering the late Ja’Net DuBois.

The 53-year-old entertainer took to Instagram on Tuesday (February 18) to pay tribute to her Good Times mom Ja’Net, after it was announced she suddenly passed away.

“I am so very saddened to hear my longtime friend Ja’Net DuBois has passed away. I saw first hand how she broke stereotypes and changed the landscape for Black women in entertainment,” Janet wrote. “I’m grateful in recent years I had a chance to see her and create more lasting memories. I pray for comfort for all her family and friends.
Thank you Ja’Net, I’ll miss you. 🖤”

Ja’Net starred as Willona Woods for all six seasons of Good Times back in the 1970s. Janet joined the cast in season five as Penny Gordon, a young girl who was being physically abused by her birth mother. Willona eventually adopted Penny.

Our thoughts are with Ja’Net DuBois‘ loved ones during this difficult time.

Joined by The Roots, Janet Jackson gave her 1995 track “Runaway” a fresh feeling on vocals as Jimmy and the musicians played everything from xylophones to kazoos to toy trumpets.

Jimmy also kept the time by waving a flag throughout the performance. “Runaway” was recorded and released for Janet‘s first greatest hits album, Design of a Decade: 1986–1996.

Earlier in the week, Janet Jackson announced on The Tonight Show that along with her just revealed Black Diamond World Tour that she will also release a new album called Black Diamond.

Janet Jackson Confirms on 'Fallon' That 'Black Diamond' Tour Will Come With New Album!

Janet Jackson made a rare late-night appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Monday (February 10) and had a pleasant surprise for her fans!

The 52-year-old entertainer announced that along with her just revealed Black Diamond World Tour that she will also release a new album called Black Diamond, her first in five years since Unbreakable.

“It’s the toughest of the stones, of the diamonds, to cut. I heard that immediately. It’s hard to hurt, to destroy. And in my last few years, I’ve come to realize that I’m incredibly strong,” Janet explained to Jimmy about the title. “I see myself as this rock, you know, rough around the edges and just want to share some of my strengths and stories.”

Janet Jackson also talked a bit about recording her 1986 breakout album Control and told a story about how a catcalling man inspired the now iconic “Ms. Jackson if you’re nasty” line from her hit “Nasty Boys.”
