Ryan Reynolds Reveals How He Tricks His Kids Into Thinking They're Watching 'Deadpool'

Both Deadpool and Deadpool 2 are rated “R” and Ryan Reynolds just responded to a fan asking about showing the film to her four-year-old.

“@VancityReynolds RYAN I HAVE AN IMPORTANT QUESTION I NEED AN ANSWER TO RIGHT TF NOW!!! My son is 4, he loves Marvel, I’m dying to show him Deadpool but I can’t decide if I should or not. Helpasistahout !!!!!!!!,” the fan wrote to Ryan.

He then responded with a trick of his own, writing, “No. Put on Spider-Man (from 2002) and tell him it’s Deadpool. It’s what I do with my kids. Remember to look him straight in the eye when you lie. Good luck.”

The 2002 Spider-Man movie stars Tobey Maguire in the lead role.

Ryan and his wife Blake Lively are parents to 4-year-old daughter James and 2-year-old Inez.

Ryan recently had a hilarious response to a fan wanting Blake to give birth to their third child soon.

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds are lending their support for migrant children separated from their families at the United States-Mexico border.

The A-list couple has donated $2 million to the NAACP Legal Defense and Education Fund (LDF) and the Young Center for Immigrant Children’s Rights.

Both organizations are focused on protecting the rights of migrant children. Each organization will be receiving $1 million.

“We’re blown away by the NAACP Legal Defense and Education Fund, and the Young Center’s commitment to not only justice and democracy, but humanity,” Blake and Ryan said in a statement. “Over the last few years, our perspective has grown and we’ve realized we have to do everything possible to foster more compassion and empathy in this world.”

Blake and Ryan continued: “History’s being written right now. We’re grateful to give back to organizations who give voice to so many.”

It’s Blake Lively‘s birthday, and Ryan Reynolds is celebrating by sharing some of their worst selfies.

The 42-year-old Deadpool actor hilariously trolled the Gossip Girl alum, who turned 32, on her birthday on Sunday (August 25) on Instagram.

Ryan Reynolds is reacting to the news that Spider-Man is leaving the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

A fan sent a tweet to Ryan, who plays the Marvel character Deadpool, requesting that there is a movie with Deadpool and Spider-Man.

“Can we get a Spiderman & Deadpool movie now,” the fan wrote. Ryan responded, “You can. But you can only see it in my heart.”

Fans have been sending tweets to Ryan asking him to help broker a deal between Sony Pictures and Disney to allow Spider-Man to stay in the MCU.

Ryan Reynolds is dodging raindrops on the way to work.

The 42-year-old actor was spotted heading to the set of his upcoming movie Free Guy on Tuesday (July 23) just ahead of a rainstorm in Boston, Mass.
