Something Special Is Happening for Tonight's 'American Horror Story'

Ryan Murphy just announced that the entire cast of American Horror Story: Apocalypse will be live tweeting the show tonight (October 17) for a very special reason…it’s Sarah Paulson‘s directorial debut on the show!

“The entire cast of AMERICAN HORROR STORY will be tweeting along LIVE with tonight’s RETURN TO MURDER HOUSE episode to support the directorial debut of the one and only Ms Sarah Paulson. Join us and support our Supreme!” Ryan posted on Twitter moments ago.

Sarah spoke about her directorial debut on the show, telling THR, “It’s always exciting and also terrifying when there’s a dynamic shift. I’ve been an actor on that show for many years and then all of a sudden, and I’m now in a position where these people who I work with are now going to have to, for lack of an articulate way of saying it, help execute my vision.”

Be sure to tune in for the brand new episode!

Sandra Bullock Talks Her 'Crappy Few Weeks' at 'Elle' Women in Hollywood Celebration!

Sandra Bullock has opened up about loosing her father John W. Bullock at the age of 93 and her two pet dogs over the last month at the Elle Women in Hollywood Celebration.

The 54-year-old actress briefly touched on the difficult past month she’s endured while honoring her friend and Ocean’s 8 co-star Sarah Paulson at the event held at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills on Monday (October 15).

“I was going to write a nice speech about all the things I like about Sarah Paulson. Sarah Catharine Paulson, she likes when you use her middle name, or Powell-son, as my 5-year-old calls her,” Sandra began (via People). “But it’s been a crappy few weeks. My dad died, both of my dogs died. You turn on the television or computer and it’s endless tragedies and it seems like more than ever now if you have a vagina, you have to be a fighter as well. So I don’t feel nice. So I decided tonight I’m going to talk about all the things I don’t like about Sarah.”

“I don’t like the fact that she can wear things that look like a child threw a box of highlighters. Or that she dissembled her grandmother’s couch and reassembled it with safety pins. And still takes your breath away the minute she walks on the red carpet,” Sandra continued. “I don’t like that bravery and I don’t like that it’s inspiring. I don’t like that she loves so deeply and so openly. And I don’t like that she is loved so deeply and so openly by extraordinary people because it only shines the light on how I just need to be better. I don’t like her work ethic. It reminds me that I need to work harder.”

Also in attendance at the event was Ryan Murphy, Juliette Lewis and Natasha Lyonne.

FYI: Sarah is wearing a Calvin Klein dress, Fernando Jorge jewelry and carrying a Tyler Ellis clutch.

Sarah Paulson Reveals Her 'Absolute Terror & Fear' Over This Aspect of Hollywood

Sarah Paulson is on one of the covers of Elle magazine’s November 2018 Women in Hollywood issue!

Here’s what the American Horror Story actress had to share with the mag…

On balancing her personal and professional life: “I don’t have children; I’m not married. But I have a lot of intimate relationships—my nieces and nephews, and a wonderful circle of friends. I don’t see them enough. This idea that you can have it all is another thing to be challenged. Somebody once said to me, ‘You can have anything you want, but you can’t have everything.’ You can’t be awake and asleep, or here and also at home. You have to make choices. But I’ve gotta strike while the iron’s hot. Right now, people are calling. They may stop really soon. So I want to make hay while the sun shines. That’s a lot of things I just did there…iron, hay. But you know, the window is open. I’m just trying to muscle it open as long as I can and get it as wide as possible.”

On ageism in Hollywood: “Interest in me sparked when I was in my very late thirties. I have absolute terror and fear that someone’s gonna go, ‘You turned 45. Bye-bye.’ I hope I don’t get told to go back to bed. I have a lot more to do and say. But there’s this notion that women fall apart after 45. It’s been perpetuated by Hollywood by not putting the stories of women over certain ages front and center. They’re dictating what they think is interesting, and we are consuming it and deciding that what they’re telling us is true.”
