Sarah Paulson Explains That Final Moment in 'American Horror Story: Cult'

Sarah Paulson is explaining that final moment in American Horror Story: Cult, where [SPOILER ALERT!], Ally pulled a hood over her head before the screen went dark and the credits rolled.

During an interview with Vulture, the inerviewer asked about the hood being a possible throwback to the third season of AHS: “But is she actually going to see our old friend Cordelia from AHS: Coven?”

“None of those things happened and obviously they were missed opportunities. I see that clearly now,” Sarah said, also citing that her other AHS character Lana Winters could have come back but didn’t. “I love that there’s a mystery to it and that you walk away from this season going, ‘Where the hell is she going?’ I think that’s great and that’s a good question to have. I think it looks an awful lot like the robes Bebe wore, doesn’t it?”

Bebe is the character from Cult played by Frances Conroy, and is another cult leader.

Sarah Paulson may star on American Horror Story but that doesn’t mean she’s not scared by the show!

The 42-year-old actress braved Universal Studios’ American Horror Story Haunted House for a hilarious episode of Ellen’s Show Me More Show.

Sarah, along with The Ellen Show executive producer Andy Lassner, screamed, cursed and crawled their way through the haunted house and it’s actually pretty funny.

Sarah Paulson Won't Work For Another TV Creator Besides Ryan Murphy & She Explains Why

Sarah Paulson looks so regal on the cover of Adweek‘s latest issue.

Here’s what the 42-year-old American Horror Story star had to share with the mag:

On why she won’t work for another TV creator besides Ryan Murphy: “There are great creators out there, absolutely, but I have found a home in the sense that I work for a person who sees me completely, knows my strengths and weaknesses, knows how to push me and keeps throwing me the ball,” she says. “Why would you leave something that works? This idea of jumping off one thing just to be available in case something great comes by, that’s like leaving your wonderful mate because you think maybe someone more interesting is out there.”

On how Jessica Lange is responsibly for her AHS casting: “…Jessica threw her arm around me, looked at Ryan and said, ‘Can’t you find something for Sarah to do on the show? It would be so great. I just like having her around.’”

On if she’d ever star in an ad campaign: “I would absolutely do it, certainly for products I actually use. I’m a Neutrogena makeup wipes gal, and every time I use them I go, ‘Do I need to call someone and tell them?’”
