Billy Porter is joining the list of celebs who will NOT be in attendance at the upcoming 2024 Met Gala!
The 54-year-old entertainer has revealed he won’t be making it this year and he has a very special and important reason as to why.

There were so many stars at the 2024 Time100 Gala, including some cast members of The Color Purple.
Fantasia Barrino, Colman Domingo, and Taraji P. Henson were all honored at the event on Thursday night (April 25) at Jazz at Lincoln Center in New York City.
Some of the other celebs who stepped out for the event and are pictured in this gallery include Uma Thurman, Dev Patel, Maya Rudolph, Oscar winner Da’Vine Joy Randolph, Billy Porter, Maria Bello, Michael J. Fox, and Alex Edelman.
Also in attendance were a hugely popular sports star and one of the music industry’s top performers right now.

Luke Evans and Billy Porter have released a new duet!
The two co-stars debuted their new song “Always Be My Man,” which was written for their new movie Our Son.
Here’s the synopsis for the Bill Oliver-directed movie: ”Nicky (Evans), a book publisher devoted to his work, lives with his husband Gabriel (Porter), a former actor and stay-at-home dad, and their eight year-old son, Owen (Christopher Woodley). Gabriel loves Owen more than anything; Nicky loves Gabriel more than anything. Despite appearances, Gabriel has been dissatisfied with their marriage for some time and files for divorce, leading to a custody battle that forces both of them to confront the changing reality of their love for each other and for their son.”

The best in West End theatre was celebrated at the 2023 Evening Standard Theatre Awards, where Nicole Scherzinger was the big winner of the night!
Tom Hiddleston and Zawe Ashton were among the stars who walked the red carpet at the event on Sunday night (November 19) at Claridge’s Hotel in London, England.
Nicole won the award for Best Musical Performance for her work in the new revival of Sunset Boulevard, beating out A Strange Loop‘s Kyle Ramar Freeman, Crazy for You‘s Charlie Stemp, and Guys and Dolls‘ Marisha Wallace.
Sunset Boulevard‘s Jamie Lloyd won the award for Best Director and Guys and Dolls won the award for Best Musical.
Ruth Wilson received a Special Editor’s Award in acknowledgment of her marathon 24-hour show The Second Woman.

Billy opened up with some major revelations about Broadway casting and how he was rejected from a popular show and why he turned down a part in a different show.

The 43-year-old reality star hit the red carpet as she arrived at her Swarovski X SKIMS Collaboration Launch Party at its flagship store on Tuesday evening (November 7) in New York City.

For the party, Kim wore a top made out of diamonds along with a matching skirt, which she wore over a pair of the high-waisted briefs from the Swarovski X SKIMS collection.
The Swarovski X SKIMS collaboration officially launched earlier in the day and features a more glamorous take on bodysuits and loungewear.
Kim wasn’t the only star in attendance – a ton of other A-list stars also hit the red carpet for the launch party.
