Kristin Chenoweth will be making an appearance on the American Idol finale tomorrow night (May 23) to perform a tribute to the late Donna Summer with finalist Jessica Sanchez, sources confirm to JustJared.com!

The GCB actress has previously appeared as a guest judge on the competition show during the ninth season’s audition rounds.

“I just had a great experience. I will tell everyone about it tomorrow night!” Kristin tweeted to her fans after taping the performance this evening.

Kristin has been performing Donna‘s song “Enough is Enough” on her current concert tour, which Idol producer Nigel Lythgoe happened to attend in Los Angeles last week.

Gloria Gaynor, Thelma Houston, Gladys Knight, Nelly Furtado, Sheila E., Jennifer Holliday, and the season 11 girls will all be a part of the tribute, according to THR.

Dax wrote and co-directed the film, which hits theaters August 24. Bradley Cooper and Kristen Chenoweth also co-star in the comedy!

“[Kristen and Dax] really have a very, very special love, those two. They’re very close. It feels very real [in the film]. They really expose themselves [emotionally]. Their love is evident,” producer Andrew Panay told EW about the real-life couple.

Kristin Chenoweth and The Big Bang Theory star Jim Parsons unveiled the nominations at The New York Public Library for Performing Arts on Tuesday (May 1) in NYC.

The romantic comedy Once leads the pack with 11 nominations, including Best Musical, Best Actor, and Best Actress. The Gershwins’ Porgy and Bess followed closely behind with 10 nominations.

Neil Patrick Harris will host this year’s ceremony, which airs live on June 10 at 8/7c on CBS.

Hugh Jackman will be presented with a Special Tony Award during the telecast. He’s “being honored for his contributions to the Broadway community, both as a performer and humanitarian; his tireless dedication to charitable works of many types; and his personal generosity of spirit.”

Kristin Chenoweth is using her upcoming New York City concert after party for good!

The Emmy and Tony-winning GCB star is inviting her fans to attend a reception after her NYC tour stop on June 2 to raise money for her charity Maddie’s Corner.

“I am having a party! Help me raise $ for @maddiescorner Here’s the invite! Hope to see y’all there!” Kristin tweeted.

Maddie’s Corner (named after Kristin‘s beloved dog) was started to inspire a more humane, thoughtful and tolerant society that will benefit the quality of life of both people and animals.
