During the scene, Andrew saved a bus full of people by pushing it back upright from being on its side.

The 29-year-old actor was joined on set by his co-star Paul Giamatti, who is taking on the role of Aleksei Sytsevich/The Rhino in the highly anticipated film.

Earlier in the week, the 29-year-old actor was seen shooting scenes with his co-star Dane DeHaan, who plays Harry Osborn.

Robert Pattinson makes his first public appearance since the cheating scandal involving Kristen Stewart at the premiere of his film Cosmopolis on Monday (August 13) at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City.

The 26-year-old actor suited up in Gucci, the designer who created a signature look for Rob‘s character in the film! He was joined by his co-star Paul Giamatti.

Rob is set to make many appearances this week to promote the film, in theaters August 17. He’ll appear on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart tonight, ring the bell at the New York Stock Exchange tomorrow, and chat with Good Morning America on Wednesday. Check back for all the updates!

Here’s the synopsis: Unfolding in a single cataclysmic day, the story follows Eric Packer (Pattinson) – a 28-year old financial whiz kid and billionaire asset manager – as he heads out in his tricked-out stretch limo to get a haircut from his father’s old barber, while remotely wagering his company’s massive fortune on a bet against the Chinese Yuan. Packer’s luxe trip across the city quickly becomes dizzyingly hellish as he encounters explosive city riots, a parade of provocative visitors, and is thrust into a myriad of intimate encounters. Having started the day with everything, believing he is the future, Packer’s perfectly ordered, doubt-free world is about to implode.

Cosmopolis, directed by David Cronenberg, also stars Juliette Binoche, Jay Baruchel, Kevin Durand, Samantha Morton, and Paul Giamatti.

Robert Pattinson continues his Cosmopolis promo tour with a photo call at the Thompson Hotel on Monday (June 4) in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Director David Cronenberg and co-stars Sarah Gadon, Kevin Durand, Emily Hampshire, and Paul Giamatti also joined the 26-year-old actor at the press conference.

Rob, who has talked about suffering panic attacks before working on a new project, said Cosmopolis was no different.

“I guess that’s kind of my process now. I have to go through the motions of feeling I’m going to have a heart attack for a while before,” he told reporters. “[David] told me to stop worrying. I think he heard me in the very obvious throes of a manic attack.”
