Ewan McGregor is opening up about how the guys in T2 Trainspotting deal with aging in their anticipated sequel, which hits theaters on Friday (March 17)!
“There’s a very strong feeling in the film particular to male ageing and how badly we go about it,” the 45-year-old expressed while making an appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers on Tuesday (March 13) in New York City.
“An actual fact, women are so much better about the psychology of getting older,” Ewan added. “They’re just more sensible about it. As men we sort of try and hold onto this idea that we’re still young, sexy and cool. Like way passed the point of when we’re actually young, sexy and cool. So [the film] is very much about that and how they struggle with it.”

Emily Ratajkowski is feeling extremely violated by a photographer who has published nude photos of her without permission.
The 25-year-old model-actress took to her Twitter to call out photographer Johnathan Leder after he announced he will be publishing a book consisting of never-before-seen nude and semi-nude Polaroids of her from a 2012 photo shoot.
“I’ve been resisting speaking publicly on the recently released photos by Jonathan Leder to avoid giving him publicity. But I’ve had enough,” Emily tweeted. “This book and the images within them are a violation. 5 out of the now 100s of released photos were used for what they were intended: an artful magazine shoot back in 2012.”
“These photos being used w/out my permission is an example of exactly the opposite of what I stand for: women choosing when and how they want to share their sexuality and bodies,” Emily added. “My body, my choice.”
Last night (November 30), Emily joined Rosario Dawson, Shanina Shaik and Sasha Lane at the Miami Beach Kickoff Party at Audemars Piguet Art Commission “Reconstruction Of The Universe” by Sun Xun hosted by Take-Two Interactive at Oceanfront Miami Beach in Miami, Fla.
To be clear: I signed no release & was not paid. That said, the legal side of this is private and I would appreciate it if people waited…
