The 2024 Oscars In Memoriam segment paid tribute to so many stars who have passed away in the last year, however, several noteworthy names wore omitted.

Celebrities such as Matthew Perry, Tina Turner, Tony Bennett, Sinead O’Connor, and Paul Reubens were honored during the tribute, which was set to Andrea Bocelli and his son’s live rendition of “Time to Say Goodbye.”

The main In Memoriam segment granted each star an individual slide. Those who were left out appeared on a single slide together at the end of the tribute.

Awards season has just wrapped up after the 2024 Oscars aired on Sunday (March 10).

It was a thrilled couple of months that kicked off with the 2024 Golden Globes on January 7, 2024. The 65-year-old Oscar winner revealed that after co-presenting the award for Best Supporting actress during the ceremony at Hollywood’s Dolby Theatre on Sunday night (March 10), she left the ceremony mid-show.

Al Pacino‘s announcement of the Best Picture at the 2024 Oscars went viral for his unusual presenting style.

The 83-year-old actor arrived on stage to present and didn’t end up announcing all 10 nominees as per tradition.

He said, “Ten wonderful films were nominated, but only one will take the award for Best Picture—and I have to go to the envelope for that.” He then said, “My eyes see Oppenheimer.”

The audience seemed a little confused and their clapping was delayed. Eventually, the Oscars music started playing and the Oppenheimer crew started hugging and making their way to the stage.

Leonardo DiCaprio was noticeably absent from the 2024 Oscars on Sunday (March 10), and now the reason why he skipped has been revealed.

The 49-year-old actor was snubbed and not nominated this year for his work in Killers of the Flower Moon, however, the film did receive 10 nominations, including Best Picture.
