Dakota Johnson gets sandwiched in between Paul Mescal and Maggie Gyllenhaal at a special screening of The Lost Daughter held at Pacific Design Center on Sunday afternoon (November 14) in West Hollywood, Calif.

The two actors and their director were also joined by co-star Peter Sarsgaard, who also happens to be Maggie‘s husband, at the Film Independent screening.

Dakota and Maggie have been promoting the new film strong over the course of the past two weeks.

This weekend, the duo were spotted at Deadline’s Contenders Event, and just the week before that, Dakota and Maggie celebrated the film at a special Netflix luncheon.

If you didn’t see, after her events of the weekend, Dakota met up with partner Chris Martin for a store run.

The Lost Daughter, which also stars Olivia Colman, will be out on December 31.

Jake Gyllenhaal wears Valentino to present an award at the 2021 Annual Hamilton Behind The Camera Awards hosted by Los Angeles Confidential Magazine on Saturday night (November 13) in Los Angeles.

The 40-year-old actor’s sister, Maggie Gyllenhaal, was at the event to receive the Breakthrough Director award for her new film The Lost Daughter. Her husband, Peter Sarsgaard, was also in attendance.

This event marked Jake‘s first public appearance since all the attention he has been receiving after the 10 minute version of Taylor Swift‘s “All Too Well” was released online. Be sure to check it out here if you haven’t heard the new version.

Jake has not publicly commented on “All Too Well,” but once was asked if Taylor had ever written a song about him.

Dakota Johnson steps out in a chic lace top for Deadline’s The Contenders Event held at DGA Theater Complex on Sunday (November 14) in Los Angeles.

The 32-year-old actress joined co-star Peter Sarsgaard and writer/director Maggie Gyllenhaal for a discussion about their new movie, The Lost Daughter.

“I haven’t worked with an actress directing me before,” Dakota shared on the panel. “Maggie knows what it feels like to be an actress — acting especially when your body is so on display.”

She added that Maggie “created a profoundly safe environment so that I felt free and safe and held and supported.”

Maggie continued, “As an actress, I know when you can create a space where there is actual love and respect, and it has to be real, then people take these wild risks onscreen. Then you’re watching people actually learn something on film, instead of watching them pretend to learn something.”

The Lost Daughter will be out in theaters on December 17.

The stars are stepping out for the 2021 Hamilton Behind the Camera Awards!

Regina King, Jamie Dornan, and Kirsten Dunst arrived in style for the awards event hosted by the Los Angeles Confidential Magazine, The Premiere Luxury, and Lifestyle Publication on Saturday evening (November 13) in Los Angeles.

Other stars in attendance included Awkwafina, Mahershala Ali, Marlee Matlin, Maggie Gyllenhaal and husband Peter Sarsgaard, Insecure actress Yvonne Orji, and Scary Movie actor Simon Rex.

Mass co-stars Jason Isaacs, Ann Dowd, and Martha Plimpton were also at the event.

Keri Russell hits the red carpet for the premiere of her new movie, Antlers, at Regal Essex Crossing on Monday (October 25) in New York City.

The 45-year-old actress met up with her co-stars Graham Greene and Jeremy T. Thomas at the event, as well as producers Nick Antosca, Henry Chaisson, and J. Miles Dale and director Scott Cooper for the special screening.

Gina Gershon, Peter Sarsgaard, Maggie Gyllenhaal, David Burtka, and Neil Patrick Harris also stepped out for the premiere to show their support.

Here’s the summary: In an isolated Oregon town, a middle-school teacher and her sheriff brother become embroiled with her enigmatic student, whose dark secrets lead to terrifying encounters with a legendary ancestral creature who came before them.

Antlers, which also stars Jesse Plemons, will open this weekend in theaters.

Earlier in the day, Keri was seen promoting the movie on GMA.

It’s here – the trailer for The Lost Daughter!

Here’s a synopsis of the film: Alone on a seaside vacation, Leda (Olivia Colman) becomes consumed with a young mother and daughter as she watches them on the beach. Unnerved by their compelling relationship, (and their raucous and menacing extended family), Leda is overwhelmed by her own memories of the terror, confusion and intensity of early motherhood. An impulsive act shocks Leda into the strange and ominous world of her own mind, where she is forced to face the unconventional choices she made as a young mother and their consequences. Maggie Gyllenhaal makes her directorial debut from a script she adapted from the novel by Elena Ferrante. The movie also stars Dakota Johnson, Jessie Buckley, Ed Harris, Peter Sarsgaard, Paul Mescal and Dagmara Dominczyk.

The film is in select theaters December 17 and on Netflix December 31.

The new trailer for the upcoming movie The Batman, starring Robert Pattinson as Bruce Wayne and Zoe Kravitz as Selina Kyle, has been released.

The trailer was the final reveal during the DC FanDome event on Saturday afternoon (October 16).

The upcoming movie, which was written and directed by Matt Reeves, will be released in theaters on March 4, 2022.

Matt said during the panel, “We’d seen lots of origin stories. One place we hadn’t been was grounding it the way [the Frank Miller comic] Year One does.”

Also starring in the upcoming movie are Paul Dano as Edward Nashton, Jeffrey Wright as the GCPD’s James Gordon, John Turturro as Carmine Falcone, Peter Sarsgaard as Gotham D.A. Gil Colson, Jayme Lawson as mayoral candidate Bella Reál, Andy Serkis as Alfred, and Colin Farrell as Oswald Cobblepot.
