Normani Thanks Nicki Minaj for Defending Her After Tiffany Haddish's Fifth Harmony Shade

Normani sent a message to Nicki Minaj after Nicki stood up for her after Tiffany Haddish‘s Fifth Harmony shade.

If you missed it, here’s what happened. Tiffany and Kevin Hart were cracking jokes on stage during the 2018 MTV VMAs when she brought up Camila Cabello‘s nominations that evening.

“[Camila]’s nominated for five VMAs tonight. So for those of you watching at home – hi Fifth Harmony!” Tiffany said. Nicki later came on stage and turned to Tiffany and said, “And Tiff, don’t be coming for Fifth Harmony, because Normani is that b-tch.”

Normani then tweeted at Nicki, “I love you I love you I love you I love you I love you 🙈✨💖 You perfect queen you! Thank you for lifting me up. God is real. Now y’all know I love me some Nickiiiiiiiiiiiiii. Congratulations on tonight!!! Proud of you always.”

Tiffany Haddish Shades Fifth Harmony at VMAs, Nicki Minaj Defends Normani

Tiffany Haddish and Kevin Hart hit the stage for a comedy bit at the 2018 MTV Video Music Awards held at Radio City Music Hall on Monday (August 20) in New York City.

The Night School stars presented the award for Best Hip-Hop to Nicki Minaj.

During their monologue, Tiffany threw some shade at Fifth Harmony.

“Camilla Cabaleelo. Cabello. Camille Cabello is nominated for fi— YA’LL KNOW I CAN’T READ THAT GOOD, RIGHT? Look, she’s nominated for five VMAs tonight,” Tiffany said. “So for those of you watching at home – hi Fifth Harmony!”

When Nicki came on stage, she said, “And Tiff, don’t be coming for Fifth Harmony, because Normani is that b-tch.”

FYI: Tiffany is wearing a Naeem Khan dress and Chopard jewelry on the carpet. She is wearing a Rami Kadi dress on stage.

In The Oath, Chris (Barinholtz), a high-strung 24-hour progressive news junkie, and his more levelheaded wife Kai (Haddish) learn that citizens are being asked to sign a loyalty oath to the President, their reaction is disbelief, followed by idealistic refusal. But as the Thanksgiving deadline to sign approaches, the combination of sparring relatives, Chris’s own agitation and the unexpected arrival of two government agents (Cho and Magnussen) sends an already tense holiday dinner gathering completely off the rails.

Tiffany Haddish Reveals She Was Raped at Age 17

Tiffany Haddish is bravely opening up about being raped at the age of 17 by a police cadet.

The 38-year-old actress spoke to Glamour in her cover issue about the aftermath of the trauma.

“That whole experience put me in such a messed-up place for a long time, and I ended up going to counseling,” she said.

She continued, “Me just yelling out people’s names with no thought behind it is pointless. I need a plan. “I could be a voice, but what’s a voice going to do—just keep talking? Or is there action behind it?”

“I notice that men are afraid of women that are aggressive. So to protect myself I become semi-aggressive,” she continued. “You hear about, ‘Tiffany always hitting on somebody,’ but that’s to keep them from hitting on me.”
