'The Serpent Queen' Season 2 - Minnie Driver & 9 More Actors Join the Starz Drama Series

The Serpent Queen season two is on the way!

The Starz drama is based on the book “Catherine de Medici: Renaissance Queen of France” by Leonie Frieda.

While it’s unclear who all from the season one cast will return, Samantha Morton is reprising her role as Catherine de Medici, aka The Serpent Queen.

The series “tells the story of Catherine de Medici who, against all odds, became one of the most powerful and longest serving rulers in French history.”

Ten actors were just announced to join the cast on Wednesday (March 6), and among those is Minnie Driver!

'BMF' Season 3 - 10 Cast Members Expected to Return, 1 Star Is Not!

BMF is back.

The hit Starz series returns for Season 3 on March 1 at 8 p.m. ET.

The show follows the true tale of brothers Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory and Terry “Southwest T” Flenory, who fostered one of the most influential crime families in the country known as, Black Mafia Family.

Here’s a Season 3 synopsis, via Starz: We parachute into the early 90s in Season 3 with Meech moving to Atlanta, where he hopes to build upon the BMF empire in the south that he and Terry fostered in Detroit and rise to the top of the Atlanta drug scene. At the same time, Terry remains in the “D” to handle business. Charles Flenory and Lucille Flenory’s marriage remains on the rocks, and Detective Bryant and Detective Jin return as partners often on opposite sides of the law who find common ground in their determination to take down BMF.

Power Book IV: Force is coming back for a third season!

The Starz drama has kicked off production on the new episodes in Chicago, Ill., where the series is set.

The third spinoff in the Power franchise centers on Tommy Egan, who cuts ties in New York and heads to Chicago in search of family. One step leads to another and Tommy quickly finds himself in Chicago’s ruthless drug game between two of the city’s biggest crews, and a revolving door of rivalries trying to stake their claim. Tommy is more determined than ever to be the sole distributor in Chicago and must decide what he is willing to sacrifice to finally ascend the throne of a kingpin.
